The best office for android. Microsoft has released an updated version of Office for Android: Video

Office applications are one of the most sought after software segments for all platforms. In recent years, popular tools for working with documents such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs have become widespread not only on PCs, but also on Android devices.

This review examined the 10 most popular office programs for this Android smartphones  and tablets, including Adobe Reader, WPS Office, and many others. The list was sorted by the number of downloads from Google play. Office packages from Google and Microsoft were considered in their entirety, despite the fact that on the Play Store they are presented as separate programs for presentations, tables and documents.

First of all, we will determine the subject of this review. By office applications is meant software designed for reading and processing electronic documents in such formats as * .docx, * .xls, * .pdf and many others. Most often, such programs work only with tables, texts or presentations, but there is special software for reading vector formats, which also belongs to the segment of office applications.

Document management software is focused not only on the convenience of reading and editing data, but also on a wide online functionality for synchronizing content and multi-user interaction.

One of the main tasks of developers of mobile office software is to create thoughtful user interfaceadapted for touch input. Modern office programs for smartphones and tablets have advanced significantly in this regard compared to the first versions for push-button phones, when even the correct display of a document on the screen was considered something supernatural.

Nevertheless, to create from scratch some kind of complex work with graphs, formulas, etc., to this day they are not the best suited and are much inferior to desktop counterparts in the collection of additional funds.

Applications from this review are mainly focused on offline functionality and support downloading files from the device’s memory. Some of them have paid versions, which differ in a set of functions, in the absence of advertising banners, etc.

All considered office packages were evaluated in terms of usability and functionality on a ten-point scale. A general rating for each of them was set based on these two parameters, as well as a number of additional functional features, including working with a memory card, the availability of tools for online synchronization, support for alternative file formats  and the presence of paid content.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is the leader in the number of downloads in its segment of Google Play. This program is designed exclusively for working with the * .pdf format.
It’s not so easy to find smartphone users or personal computerswho have not encountered at all software  from Adobe, so the huge popularity of this product on Android is unlikely to come as a surprise to anyone. The history of its development began in 1993 and for more than twenty years versions were released on all possible platforms.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is made on the principle of "better, less is better." There is support for one single file format, while all the tools for working with it are almost brought to perfection. The application interface is quite stylish and well thought out in terms of usability.

At startup, the user enters a menu consisting of three tabs - Recent, Local, and Document Cloud. If the first two are clear from the names, the third is designed to work with a cloud service, which will require the creation of an account.
After authorization under account  Adobe on the main screen of the mobile Adobe Acrobat Reader will be the fourth tab - Outbox. You can switch between them using swipe or by clicking on the corresponding items in the list of tabs.

The top panel of the Adobe Acrobat Reader main screen contains search, sync, main menu, and settings icons. The latter are few - data sending, brightness lock, author name and Document Cloud cache location.
In the main menu, such items as “My Documents”, “Export PDF”, “Create PDF”, etc. are available, and the user name is displayed below. Creating and exporting files in the * .pdf extension are additional paid features available by subscription. The cheapest option will cost the user 80 p. monthly, the most expensive at the time of writing the review cost about several thousand a year.

The control in the reading mode is very convenient - you can leave bookmarks and comments, navigate by changing the position of the indicator on the progress bar, search by keywords  etc.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is not a full-fledged office suite, but it can be deservedly called one of top apps  to work with * .pdf on Android.

WPS Office is one of the leading multi-functional office suites for Android. This application works with all known file formats and provides full compatibility with Microsoft Word, Office and Excel

WPS Office is the most downloaded program in its segment of Google Play, second only to Adobe Acrobat Reader, which does not belong to full-fledged office suites.

The WPS Office home screen has a navigation menu where you can create new documents or open existing ones. Files can be found on the memory card manually or entrusted to the search program. For example, in the “All Documents” menu, it is enough to select the desired extension and the user will receive a list of all documents in this format that are available in the device’s memory.

The WPS Office interface is quite stylish and convenient, although to some it may seem too minimalistic. To create new documents, use the round red button located in the lower right corner. When you click on it, the user is offered 4 options - presentation, table, text document or note.

Tools for viewing and editing files are a major advantage of WPS Office. The developers declare full support for Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, as well as * .txt and * .pdf.
WPS Office supports more than 40 languages, working with cloud storage like Google drive  and Dropbox, data exchange in local networks and much more. Among the advanced functions of this application include export to * .pdf and the ability to change the encoding text files.

The editing menu is perfectly adapted for touch displays and contains all the necessary components. The user will find here an interactive search, lighting control, icons for saving and printing, and much more.

The set of controls is slightly different depending on the type of content. For example, when working with presentations, the Slides item and a button for launching a slide show are available, and when you open the table, the Cell menu is displayed, where you can change the size, style, borders, etc.

WPS Office is very user-friendly and has proven itself in terms of functionality. This office suite can be safely recommended to owners of smartphones and tablets on Android as the main program for working with documents.

OfficeSuite 8 is one of the most popular full-fledged office suites for Android. It differs from WPS Office by a large number of advanced functions and the presence of a paid version, the cost of which at the time of writing the review was a little more than 500 rubles.

The interface of OfficeSuite 8 is not satisfactory in terms of design and usability. Using the application is convenient in all modes, and the control is perfectly adapted for devices with touch input. On the left side of the main screen of the program is a set of menu items to go to latest files, bookmarks, memory card, etc. To create new documents and folders, use the red button with the “+” sign in the lower right corner of the screen that is already familiar to such applications.

Office Suite 8 has rich functionality for reading and editing documents. There is full support for popular Microsoft Office formats, as well as some alternative extensions such as RTF, ODS, ODT, etc. There is more than enough tools to work with * .pdf - the program can export data not only from documents to a vector format, but and vice versa. Office Suite 8 supports leading cloud services such as OneDrive, Dropbox, and many more. Among other things, it is worth noting the interface translated into more than 50 languages, scanning to * .pdf directly from the device’s camera and FTP support.

As for the means for reading and editing, a standard set of functions and control elements typical for applications of this segment is provided here. The contents of the toolbar depend on the content, for example, when opening a table, you can change fonts, cell settings, text alignment, etc.

Contrary to the foregoing, Office Suite 8 did not get the maximum score in this review. The reason lies in the need to purchase a paid version with a cost of 500 rubles or more to gain access to all functions. If you quickly go through the menu of the free version of Office Suite 8, clicking on all the items in turn, a notification about the impossibility of using them will appear almost every time. For example, bookmarks, export and import from * .pdf, FTP and much more are not available in the free version. The annoying advertisement, each time opening in full-screen mode when closing a document and switching to main screen  applications.

The office suite from Google consists of three applications, separately provided on Google Play. These include Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides. This approach may be due to desktop practice, where different programs are used to open presentations or tables.

Office applications from Google are focused on online functionality and provide tools for convenient multi-user work. Access to the document can be obtained not only from mobile app, but also through the web version of the service. For authorization in both cases, you need a Google account.

The interface of each of the three applications is quite simple and convenient and differs only in the color scheme and some control elements. A list of documents is located on the main screen, and the menu is opened using the icon in the upper left corner. The top panel also offers search, sorting and navigation to Explorer or Google Drive to add files.

In terms of functionality, Google’s mobile office suite is somewhat limited, which also applies to the web version of the service. For example, there are no advanced formatting settings such as changing additional page numbering options, etc. The advantages of Google Docs include the convenience of synchronization and multi-user development, access rights management and the ability to work offline. Office suite from Google combines all the advantages of online functionality - rollback to earlier versions when changes are unsuccessful, instant access via the cloud when connected to the Internet, and much more.

A set of Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides hardly pulls on a full-fledged office suite. Not only are there many advanced features missing, but a strange division into three applications is applied, each of which supports one type of content. Nevertheless, most users will have enough of the available functionality, so the office suite from Google will be a good solution for owners of Android devices.

Docs To Go is a classic office suite for Android. This program works with documents, tables and presentations of Microsoft Office.

The application interface is quite convenient and well adapted for touch input. Visually, it looks somewhat primitive, and in terms of a set of funds it is almost completely identical to other programs in its segment. On the main screen there is a familiar set of menu items for navigating to the cloud, files from a memory card, etc. The application can automatically find documents of certain extensions on the device, including * .doc, * .ppt, * .pdf and many others. To create a new file, use the button with the “+” sign on the top panel, when you click on it, the user will be offered three options - a document, table or presentation.

In terms of functionality, Docs To Go is somewhat behind the competition. For example, there is no conversion to * .pdf, the program only allows you to view files in this extension. Also, some users will find the overly simplified toolbar available in edit mode. Otherwise, the set of tools is very typical for an office suite. Supported here microsoft files  Office 97-2013, adding notes, working with cloud services  such as SkyDrive or Dropbox, etc.

At the time of writing the review on Google Play, a paid version of the application with a cost of almost 800 rubles was provided. To install it, you must download the free version of the application and a special key version Premium. Paid Docs To Go is distinguished by the availability of access to files in cloud storage or password protected, the ability to synchronize with a PC and the absence of advertising.

Polaris Office for Android is a multi-functional office suite with support for popular file formats and cloud services. The paid version of the program allows you to export documents to * .pdf and protect files with a password.

The application interface is very stylish and convenient. The main menu is opened using the button in the upper left corner and contains all the necessary control elements - account settings, adding storage, settings, etc. To create files, use the round red button in the lower right corner, when clicked, the user is offered 4 types of content - a text document, plain text, presentation or table.

Files are automatically opened in reading mode, and using the icons on the top panel, you can proceed to their editing. In this mode, there are many functions that users of desktop office suites are used to, for example, find and replace, spell checking, printing, and much more.

In terms of features, the Polaris Office is practically not behind its competitors. The program supports the formats * .pptx, * docx, * .xlsx, cloud services such as Google Drive and uCloud, add notes and insert media content captured on the camera. Polaris Office also works in more than 10 languages, supports formulas, * .pdf files and much more.

Polaris Office performed well in terms of usability and functionality, and the paid version with additional tools for working with * .pdf and increased volume cloud storage  should satisfy the needs of most users.

Before buying, developers provide a free trial period of 7 to 30 days, so the owners of gadgets on Android have a good opportunity to test paid content before buying it. At the time of writing the review, the Premium version cost about 130-150 rubles per month, depending on the duration of the subscription.

Microsoft's Office suite for Android consists of three separate applications on Google Play - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Each of them is well known to users of stationary PCs, where Microsoft products still occupy leading positions.

Mobile MS Office became the second participant in this review, which is presented in the form of several applications. It’s hard to say who and who took the example - Microsoft from Google or Google from Microsoft, although a similar approach long time  took place in the desktop software segment, where MS also has OneNote, Outlook, and many other office programs.

The mobile MS Word interface is practically no different from Excel and PowerPoint. The only exceptions are design colors and some control elements. Microsoft's office suite is well thought out in terms of usability and visual design, which in many ways resembles computer version  sample of 2013 and later.

On the main screen of any of the three applications, a list of files and account information is displayed, and using the vertical panel on the left side of the display you can navigate through the menu items. To synchronize with the cloud, you must log in with your Microsoft account.

In terms of functionality, this office suite has many similarities with a similar solution from Google. There are not so many additional tools, but only one service is used for synchronization. Each of the programs included in the package works with one type of content, which may not be very convenient for users of mobile devices.

In general, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint make up a good basic office suite for Android, focused on online functionality. A direct competitor of this product is a similar three applications from Google, adhering to a similar concept.

This application is an office suite with support for Open Office file formats such as * .odt, * .ods and others. In terms of popularity, AndrOpen Office is significantly behind competitors, the program has only recently surpassed the bar of 1 million downloads from Google Play.

At startup, the interface style with which the developers are 10 years late is immediately apparent. The controls are conveniently located, but they look visually not the best way. From the main screen of the application, you can go to settings, explorer or create a new document, spreadsheet or presentation.

The most interesting part starts already in the file editing mode. If the main menu interface is about 10 years behind, then here the difference is almost twice as big. Square windows with dumbfounded icons and black text on a gray background - it seems that the developers were inspired by Windows 98 when designing the interface.

In functionality, AndrOpen Office came out much better than in usability and design. There is support for a large number of file formats, including office, text, raster and vector. In this setting, AndrOpen Office outperformed the rest of the reviewers, providing support even for * .svg and * .xpm. The program also works with cloud services, allows you to export data to * .pdf and supports more than 10 languages.

Unfortunately, AndrOpen Office has very few settings and changing the layout is not one of them. If the application had a decent interface, and not trash in the style of Microsoft Office 98, then it could well compete with the leaders of its segment. The functionality of AndrOpen Office should be enough for most users, and the support for Open Office formats available here does not have any analogues on Android.

Smart Office 2 is a full-fledged office suite with support for a large number of file formats. Despite the small number of downloads from Google Play, the program is a good alternative to the leaders of its segment.

When you start the application, a non-standard interface is immediately evident, although it cannot be called absolutely unsuccessful, as is the case with AndrOpen Office. There are icons on the main screen for navigating to help materials, support, explorer, creating a new file, etc. The user is offered three types of created content - a text document, a presentation, and a table. For each of them there are two extensions - the old and the new, for example, in the case of MS Word it will be * .doc and * .docx, respectively.

The visual appearance in the editing mode is not as extravagant as in the main menu of the program, although it differs from other applications of its segment in its approach to the organization of the interface and the arrangement of control elements.

In terms of functionality, Smart Office 2 is distinguished by the presence of * .pdf support with the ability to save notes and work with popular office formats, as well as vector and raster graphics. The program interface has been translated into more than 20 languages, and it also supports export and * .pdf conversion and work with popular cloud services.

Smart Office 2 can really be regarded as a worthy replacement for the leaders of this review, although the approach to the design of the interface here is somewhat different from generally accepted standards.

When running office software, the user expects to see something in the style of WS Word on desktop PCs, rather than large bright icons on a dark background. From a functional point of view, Smart Office 2 practically does not lag behind the leaders of its segment and the set of funds provided should be enough for most users.

The last participant in this review was Foxit MobilePDF, which is designed exclusively for the * .pdf format. A direct competitor to this application can be considered the leader of the list in the person of Adobe Acrobat Reader, which has similar functionality.

The Foxit MobilePDF interface is simple and intuitive, there are 4 tabs that can be switched by swipe. The top panel displays their names, as well as icons for searching, creating new folders, etc. The application has very few settings. For example, here you can change the settings for turning off the screen, display orientation, select a viewing mode, etc.

In viewing mode, the user is provided with all the necessary tools for processing information. You can adjust the brightness, activate the screen lock, add notes, share files through local network  etc. In the upper right corner is an icon with a magnifying glass for searching content. The implementation of this component in Foxit MobilePDF is inferior to Adobe Acrobat Reader, where the search results are displayed as fragments of pages. Only the panel on the left side of the screen is available here, showing the number of entries and page numbers.

There are no questions regarding the functionality of Foxit MobilePDF, if we consider it solely as a means of reading * .pdf. For the rest, this application is very far from not only a full-fledged office suite, but also to its main competitor in the form of Adobe Acrobat Reader with a rich set of additional features, some of which are available only by subscription.

The advantages of Foxit MobilePDF include speed, the ability to change reading modes, access to cloud services, support for more than 10 interface languages \u200b\u200band password protection of files. This product is presented on a large number  platforms, and most of its functionality is completely free.

Conclusion

Almost all considered office suites received a high overall score, although WPS Office was the clear leader in this respect, receiving 10 points out of 10 in terms of functionality and usability. OfficeSuite 8 came close to the leader, who was left behind only due to the lack of a substantial part of the functionality in the free version. In addition to OfficeSuite 8, estimates of 9 points out of 10 possible were awarded to Polaris Office, as well as office suites from Google and Microsoft.

Most applications received a score of 8 points out of 10. Most often this was due to a limited set of functions or poor interface design. The main outsider in terms of the overall score was AndrOpen Office, which visually resembles Windows 98, although there are no problems with the functionality of the program.

6 out of 10 survey participants are full-fledged office suites, with the exception of a few limited sets of applications from Google and Microsoft, as well as Adobe Acrobat Reader and Foxit MobilePDF, designed exclusively for the * .pdf format.

By the number of installations, the absolute champion of Adobe Acrobat Reader, who at times beat all the pursuers in this indicator. Nonetheless this program  It is not a full-fledged office suite and could not compete on equal terms with other participants in the review. The second in the ranking of popularity was WPS Office, and Smart Office 2 and Foxit MobilePDF close this list with the number of downloads in the region of 1 million.

In half of the programs reviewed, paid content is present in one form or another. In the case of Adobe Acrobat Reader or Polaris Office, this is a paid subscription, and the developers of OfficeSuite 8 and Docs To Go offer Premium versions of their applications with advanced functionality.

Office suites from Microsoft and Google, each of which consists of 3 separate applications, made a contradictory impression. On the one hand, everything was done very high quality, on the other hand, the functionality is basically basic, and for each type of content you need to use your own program, which is not very convenient on mobile devices. Cloud functionality was also somewhat limited due to the inability to use other services except OneDrive and Google Drive  respectively.

According to table # 2, which characterizes the functional features of the applications, comparative parity is observed. Most of the survey participants received 3-4 “+” out of 5 possible.

When choosing an office suite for Android, you should focus on a set of supported file formats and operating modes in accordance with the needs of the user. For example, someone needs support for Open Office files and online functionality, while someone needs * .pdf reading and the ability to convert to or from this format. It is also worth considering that the overall ratings in this review are relatively subjective and reflect the situation only in terms of the parameters selected by the author.

Can I use Office applications with the classic version of Office?

Yes. This page provides information about advanced features for phones and tablets that are available with an Office 365 subscription.

Tablets are ideal for web surfing, watching movies, games. But working in office applications on tablets is not yet convenient. The main problem: is it possible to install a word on a tablet and can they be used as a full replacement for laptops. The situation so far is that the office suites offered for Android show weak support for file formats, restriction or lack of editing mode, poor settings and only partial compatibility with Microsoft Office.

Several popular offices for Android OS

Most of the "tablets" are made for the processor architecture for Android. And Microsoft issued a special office for him. The version called Quickoffice Pro is licensed and can be downloaded from the official website.

The version of Kingsoft Office developed for Android differs from the previous one in that you do not have to pay for it. It is inferior in functionality, but the simplest features, like viewing text files and editing them, can be implemented. The program opens the files: Doc; Docx; PPT; Xls; Txt; PPTX.

How to put an office on a tablet

These and other similar programs are installed on tablets of any model. To implement the simplest and most understandable way to install such programs, you need an Internet connection on your tablet.

All tablets are suitable programs from the Android Market. We find there the program that we are going to install. Then we click the “Install” button and the program does everything further automatically.

If there are no programs from official developers, and the tablet does not install third-party programs, you will have to use another method. But it is impossible to guarantee their correct operation and data safety.

In “Settings - Applications” we put a check mark opposite the line “Unknown sources” (“Settings - Application Settings” and “Unknown Sources”).

Installing an office for a tablet using a computer

Download the special InstallAPK program on your computer and install this application. We connect the tablet to the computer via the USB cable. From the programs available on the computer, select the one we need and double-click on it with the mouse. Further, the installation program does everything on its own. Unless, of course, everything is correctly installed and connected.

For programs with the .apk extension

After download desired file  with the extension .apk, go back to the browser or file manager and find the treasured file. We click on its icon and the tablet itself will install it. If necessary, check the box if Android displays a message about a possible threat to the tablet.

The most convenient file managers are EStrongs File Manager and Astro.

How to make a presentation on a tablet

Keynote, designed for the iPad, helps you quickly create a presentation with just a few taps.
Keynote offers a wide range of services:

  • Create a presentation using existing templates, unique fonts and styles, using animation effects and 12 themes.
  • Work in PowerPoint or Keynote ’09 format with import / export of finished files to web resources or emailas well as MobileMe iDisk, Mac, WebDAV or Windows on PC.
  • Formatting a slide show using the transfer of both the animation and the slides themselves (“Magic Movement”).
  • Ability to create more than 20 types of animated presentations or slide shows.
  • Using texts: working with Word on a tablet and pasting into presentations with just a few taps of tables, photos, charts, notes.
  • Integrated slide navigator with the ability to quickly edit presentations.
  • Improved autosave feature.
  • Demonstration of presentations on the big screen in HD quality directly from the program.
  • New file sorting manager.

This universal application can work not only on iPad tablet, but also on any latest-generation Apple smartphone. The Keynote interface is intuitive and the program deservedly takes first place in creating high-quality presentations at a high professional level.

Hello. As you can see, links to editorial reviews of the best software appeared on the website in the header, and gentlemen Taras Zhukov  and Dmitry Romanov  Already managed to write review articles of various kinds of programs for iOS and Android. Now it is my time to join the party with a review and comparison of office / text editors.

Having gone to the section of the same name on the site and sorting the programs by downloads and rating, I chose the top five, which we will carefully examine. Namely:

  • OfficeSuite
  • Polaris Office (4)
  • Quickoffice
  • Smart office 2
  • Word to go

For testing, I asked our editor in chief Alexandra Bobyleva  send me a couple of particularly tricky documents that have already appeared several times in our three-casts and couldn’t appear normally in their native environment — in a program written by Microsoft for Windows background. Let's see how our challengers of today will cope with these difficult tasks. I won’t build a top, let's just go in order.

As a "standard" I took Libreoffice writer. It is worth recognizing that even he sometimes "messes up" - pay attention to the notes in the screenshots. Unfortunately, I am not the owner of the Microsoft office, which, however, I think is a plus and always when meeting with girls I do not forget to mention this, so we have one standard on the computer.

In addition, I want to clarify that at first I tested office suites completely - bolds, italics, ordering, lists, and in general the number of editor features, however, after the article became too heavy and I decided to get rid of these “repetitions”. All the editors presented here are “able” to the standard set, all the actions on the text are carried out practically according to the same scenario - as it is written in the guidelines for the design of applications for Android, therefore describe how cool everything is with fat I will not be editors.

Also, I did not check the editors for the ability to read PDF - if the opportunity is declared, then the editors cope with it without any problems.

OfficeSuite

The history of the development of this program has more than one year. At one time there was even a version for Symbian (and pretty good), with which, in fact, it all started. The developers claim that the program is almost omnivorous and can open formats such as DOC / DOCX, DOCM, RTF, TXT, LOG, XLS, XLSX, XLSM, CSV, PPT, PPTX, PPS, PPSX, PPTM, PPSM, PDF, EML, ZIP. I admit, I saw a couple of extensions for the first time and never used it.

OfficeSuite showed pretty good results when opening both documents, in some places the display was even better than on a computer. However, it was not without problems, the note number in the basement was not displayed, the numbers in the graphs stuck together, but the problem is easily solved by a little stretching. All images and formulas displayed as needed.

At the first direct (not opening the file) start, the program will offer you to download a special set of fonts (documents opened without them).

I was very pleasantly surprised by the ability to print directly from the device. To do this, just add a virtual printer in Chrome or a Google account, and then give the program access. I tried it - it works! Magic, and only. :)

OfficeSuite made 2 mistakes in formatting our documents. We’ll remove another ball for a meager number of settings - 7/10.

Polaris Office 4

“Polaris” is an editor that was supplied free of charge with my device (Tab 2 7.0), which is why I indicated version 4, because currently there is already the fifth one, but, unfortunately, I have not been able to test it. The reason for this: on top of the editor’s screen, the developers posted a message that I was already using free version  for my Samsung device, use it, why do you need the fifth version? And really. I did not begin to remove the fourth and put the fifth.

As you can see, the package had some problems with the formulas - the picture was reflected, and in the lower index the font became too small to make everything comfortable.

There were no problems with the display of graphs and formulas, but the display of fields crossed out the numbers in Fig. 1, which in general can be considered a test failure.

A rather strange blur was found, and yet the package did a great job displaying the footnote number.

Pleasantly pleased with the display of hyphens, in the previous one this can not even be turned on.

In terms of functionality and ease of use, I liked the editor more than the previous one, therefore 7/10 (minus 3 points for errors, plus 1 for design and convenience in a compartment with a reading function).

Quickoffice

From the product of the corporation of good (or evil?), I expected smooth and good work, but I met not at all what I expected. At first, nothing boded ills, formulas and images looked fine, albeit slightly discharged, fonts too, formatting in general, but everything changed when it came to more complex options. If here our office suite decided to show paragraph characters instead of characters;

In the case of charts, the editor simply did not show them! I didn’t even try. Reminds the story of Bobs about "Office" on Windows background.

It is worth mentioning the speed of the application. I will clarify that all applications are launched “solo” - everything else is unloaded from memory, i.e. everyone has equal conditions for the use of resources. QuickOffice works very badly: documents open slowly, rendering is slow, paging - what would you think? Yes, also slow! The program at the moment is simply not comfortable to use. I’m afraid that the online version of Google Drive, running in a browser, works many times faster and more pleasant than QuickOffice. -3 points for errors (-2 immediately for completely ignoring the graphs) and -2 for terrifying speed. As a result, 5/10.
Unfortunately, with the display of documents, everything is not so smooth. Symbols are sometimes replaced by squares, crawl on top of each other or even replaced by a Cyrillic "alternative"

In this case, the most complex schedule was displayed as it should. Well, with the exception of the letters of the Greek alphabet.

In addition to a beautiful interface, the program can print using the "Print Room" technology, as well as display a picture on projectors in a special presentation mode. The editor itself is also pretty nice and convenient, the action buttons pop up like in iOS near the text that is being manipulated. The disadvantages include the rather clumsy automatic translation of the program into Russian. 7/10.

But the formulas - they are not, but they are, right there, between the commas. And no, if you wait, they will not appear. It’s just that the program couldn’t show them - it's too complicated.

Or the formulas seem to be there, but they did not fit, only the edges are visible.

And, of course, do not forget how slowly this program as a whole works - it opens slowly, scales slowly, everything is slow. For scaling, they even made a special indicator so that you did not sit for 15 seconds just like that, but enjoyed the strip.

Well, for sweets - our most difficult test. Word To Go passes it at the Quickoffice level, that is, it does not display graphics at all.

I will deliver this package 2/10. Perhaps it’s not bad, but only for some very simple tasks, but its convenience, or rather its absence, cuts off the possibility of normal use of the program for everyday purposes.

I would not want to summarize the full application. I can only say that I did not find a clear winner - they all mess up in something, but if I chose an office suite for myself, I would choose OfficeSuite, Polaris Office and Smart Office 2. The final choice is yours.
