As a result of a malfunction of memory chips or network failures, a violation of the program located in the chip itself is possible. To update or replace the contents of the memory (flashing), it becomes necessary to have a memory dump from a specific TV model. In this section, you can download the files we have collected (TV dumps of EEPROM and FLASH memory). Before updating, it is highly recommended to save the old dump in case of incompatibility of software versions.

All files and information are intended for specialists in the field of repair. If you are not, we advise you not to experiment.

Instructions for updating software in Supra Smart TVs

Important! Pay special attention to the reliability of connecting the TV to the mains. Even momentary power failures during software updates can permanently damage your TV.
Reinstalling the system software will result in the loss of all user data and pre-installed programs in the Android TV module. After the software update is completed, you will have to reinstall and configure the programs you need.

Prepare a blank SD card, preferably 2 to 4 gigabytes. Format it in the FAT-32 file system. Make sure that there are no recorded files and directories on the card. Open the file with the software archive with the new firmware in the archiver program or in the file manager.

In the opened archive, you should see 3 files and one subdirectory:

Copy all these files and directory to the root of the SD card, keeping the directory structure:

Turn the TV on and select the smart module as the input source. Wait for the Android operating system to load and turn off the TV with the power button on the remote control or on the TV case. Disconnect the TV from the mains using the mechanical mains switch on the TV or by unplugging the power cord from the mains socket. Insert the SD card containing the new software into the SD card slot on the back of the TV ( Attention, the exact configuration of the Android module may differ from that shown in the photo):

Take a ballpoint pen, a sharpened pencil, a match, a straightened paper clip or any similar small diameter object and press it on the reset button of the Android module located behind the round hole near the Ethernet socket:

Keeping the reset button pressed, turn on the power of the TV and 10...20 seconds after the TV goes into standby mode, turn it on with the power button on the remote control or on the TV case. Wait for the "green man" Android or other similar picture to appear on the TV screen, symbolizing the software update:

After the software update picture appears on the TV screen, you can release the reset button and wait for the operating system update to complete. During the software update, the TV screen will display the progress of the software update:

When the update is completed, the TV will reboot itself.

After rebooting the TV, go to the operating system settings (Settings), open the "Backup & Reset" item and select the "Factory data reset" mode.

On the settings page that opens, click on the "Reset device settings" button.
Confirm the reset by clicking the "Erase everything" button in the newly opened confirmation window:

The TV will reset all Android settings to factory defaults and reboot automatically.
This completes the software update process.
You can use the new version of the Android operating system.

Errors during update.

The software update process is completely dependent on the integrity of the data read from the SD card during the device update process.

Therefore, to avoid possible failures:

· Be sure to use a verified SD card for the update.

· Use a full size SD card whenever possible. Try to avoid using a micro-SD card with an adapter.

· The total size of the update files on the SD card does not exceed 200 MB. Therefore, do not try to use large cards, on which the probability of file reading errors can be much lower.
On the other hand, old memory cards of small capacity may not be compatible with the device. Therefore, the optimal size of an SD card for software updates is usually between 2 GB and 4 GB.

· If the software update fails, a window similar to the one below will appear on the screen.

In this case, repeat the entire software update procedure from the beginning.

· If the software update fails again, use a different SD card and repeat the procedure again.

Attention! Never turn off the power of the TV until the software update process is complete. Otherwise, the performance of the Android module may be impaired and you will have to contact the service center to restore it.
