Diablo III. Barbarian "Topornado" by VegaPrime

VegaPrime#1203 presented his view on the "dizzying" version of the development of the barbarian, based on the ability"Vortex" . The result was harsh beyond measure: the barbarian VegaPrime is a real natural disaster of epic proportions, just a walking meat grinder! This week we have an amazing introduction to Topornado!

About the development option

Development options that use the Whirlwind skill are very popular among experienced barbarians. A flurry of steel and fountains of blood - that's what it's like to fight with such a hero, whose roots go back to the very beginnings of the history of Diablo. VegaPrime#1203 added a bit of personality to this build by choosing a couple of unusual runes and focusing on the unexpectedly effective legendary weapon, the Stalgard Destroyer.

This week's no-tie hero of the day is a barbarian! He cuts the truth-womb and demons.

Axes, axes and Francis! This development option managed to achieve a unique style due to the ability to bring down an incredible amount of blades and blades on opponents. Such a hero not only constantly uses "Whirlwind", but also throws axes at enemies due to the "Super Strength" skill and the "Stalgard Destroyer" property. At the same time, the integrity of the style in no way reduces its combat effectiveness. Playing for such a barbarian is a pleasure.

Skills

This is a pretty solid hero - as evidenced by the fairly balanced set of defensive and offensive skills below. In addition, you will have enough space for your own experiments!

Active Skills

  • Whirlwind (with Blood Whirlwind)
    • The main means of causing damage to this development option.
    • The danger of constant skirmishes in melee is partly leveled due to the healing received with the help of the Blood Whirlwind rune.
  • Overpower (with Flurry of Steel)
    • Can be cast while Whirlwind is active.
    • EIncreasing Critical Strike stats allows you to increase area damage.
  • Wrath of the Berserker (with Madness)
    • Allows you to increase damage dealt.
    • Immunity to movement impairing effects allows you to more effectively maintain the effect of the Whirlwind skill.
  • Call of the Ancients (Rage of the Ancestors)
    • Permanently regenerates Fury when equipped with the Immortal King's Summon set .
    • An excellent means of dealing damage to both one and several targets.
  • Warcry (with Impunity)
    • The direct increase in stamina allows you to reduce the damage taken in melee.
  • Battle Rage (with Marauder's Rage)
    • Gives bonus damage to both the barbarian and his allies.
    • A fairly flexible skill that can be replaced with something else if desired.

Passive Skills

  • Mastery of weapons
    • Gives a nice damage bonus when using Stalgard Destroyer.
    • Pairs well with the Overpower skill.
  • Rage of the Berserker
    • The "Call of the Ancients" skill with the "Rage of the Ancestors" rune and the "Summon the Immortal King" item set allow the hero to maintain the effect of this skill almost constantly.
  • Superstition
  • Hardness
    • Grants a much-needed stamina boost.

Alternative Skills:

  • Threatening Shout (with any rune)
    • Replaces Overpower with Steel Flurry.
    • A decent defensive skill that will come in handy in high-level Great Rifts.
    • You can also use the Threatening Shout skill with the Slow and Grim Harvest runes.
  • Wrath of the Berserker (with Eternal Chaos or Giant's Step)
    • Replaces Wrath of the Berserker with Madness.
    • If your hero lacks survivability at high difficulty levels, then this skill with any of the indicated runes will come in handy.

Items

This development option is also good at a fairly early stage, especially if you have already managed to get the Ring of Royal Opulence and several items from the Summon the Immortal King set. In general, this development option is not very picky about equipment, and it only needs a few items to successfully use it.

Armed to the teeth, the barbarian from VegaPrime is spinning in a whirlwind of death so that only heels in loot stockings sparkle.

Required Items

  • Summon the Immortal King (4-item bonus)
    • Gives this development option several advantages at once.
    • The Call of the Ancients skill allows you to constantly replenish your rage and spin in the Whirlwind without stopping.
    • Grants an increase to base rage generation.
    • Provides health regeneration when you spend Rage, healing you every time you cast Whirlwind .
  • "Destroyer of Stalgard"
    • The hatchets thrown by the hero pierce opponents through. The item's legendary modifier often triggers when using Whirlwind and Overpower .
    • Allows monsters to experience the sharpness of ax blades firsthand!

Items suitable for this hero

  • Mr. Yang's Cursed Pants
    • In combat, you will be constantly on the move and therefore constantly receiving a damage boost from this powerful item.
  • Krelm's Bull Bracers (Seasonal Item)
    • Allows you to forget about such unpleasant things as knockback, stun and whirlwinds caused by monsters. These effects will no longer interrupt your Whirlwind.
  • Face Andariel
    • Grants an additional bonus to physical damage.
    • The effect of the Poison Ring works great with the Whirlwind skill.
  • Boots for walking on ice
    • Allows you to get rid of the vulnerability of this development option to monsters with the Freeze and Jailer properties.
  • Reaper's Wraps
    • If you haven't collected enough of the items in the Immortal King's Summon set, these bracers will speed up the generation of the hero's much-needed Fury.
  • Curse of the Captives
    • It is recommended to upgrade the gem to level 25 or higher.
    • Allows you to slow down fleeing targets, as well as retreating enemies that specialize in ranged attacks.
    • Significantly increases damage when the barbarian cuts through groups of enemies.
  • pain enhancer
    • It goes well with the development option in general, as it increases the physical damage dealt.
    • Allows you to destroy larger groups of enemies.
  • Mirine, Tear of the Starweaver
    • Since this variant specializes in dealing damage in an area, the powerful trigger effect of this gem, which deals damage to single targets, is very useful.

Key metrics to watch out for

  • Physical damage buffs are the most effective way to increase a hero's effectiveness in combat.
  • Reducing the duration of crowd control effects will make up for the lack of items such as boots for walking on ice or Krelm's bull bracers.
  • Increasing your critical strike chance will allow you to cast your Overpower more often and deal damage more often through the triggered effect of Pain Amplifier .
  • It is worth increasing in every possible way the characteristics that affect the hero’s survival (resistance to all types of damage, increases in health and survivability), as they will allow you to participate in battle longer.

Currently, VegaPrime is using the Topornado progression on Torment VI difficulty in normal mode, successfully completing tasks and clearing Nephalem portals. I got to play with this barbarian for a bit on the PTR for Update 2.1.2. With such a hero, you can have fun going through the initial great portals and moving to their higher levels, gradually increasing stamina. Barbarians know how dangerous it can be to play Heroic, and this development option is also at risk. In no case should you neglect protection and survivability, especially when you have only one life!

What we liked about this development

This development option prompts me to turn on the music to the fullest and grind the enemies of Sanctuary to powder. This variation on a proven development path is equal parts insanity and outrageous coolness. Where do all these axes come from? What's the difference! In the end, all of them will go up to the hilt into the bodies of demons.

Magpie-axe: I gave this one, I gave this one, and I gave that one too!

The availability of this development option also influenced our choice. While such a barbarian would greatly benefit from the Summon the Immortal King set, he can do without it. Spinning around like a top is always fun, and I can't wait to see how the release of a new set of items specifically designed for it will affect this style of play.

  • close combat

Barbarians easily brandish weapons that ordinary warriors can hardly lift. They can fight wielding a full-sized sword, hammer, or ax in each hand, or wielding huge, heavy killing weapons, pulverizing foes with a single blow.
  • Violent attacks

Strength and anger go hand in hand. With a touch of fury simmering within it, the barbarian is able to send his opponents flying, sever a limb with a single swing, or strike with such force that flesh is torn from the opponent's bones.
  • Cry

The savage war cries of the barbarians inspire fury and battle-lust into the hearts of allies and send the enemy to flight. Often even the strongest of enemies, having heard the war cry of a barbarian, lose confidence in themselves and can no longer find the strength to use dangerous blows.
  • Getting hit

No hero takes enemy strikes more calmly than a barbarian. Strength allows him to wield heavy shields, and his skin deflects blades and withstands enemy bites as well as steel armour.

Resource: fury

The fury that fills the true barbarian does not fade as long as the fire of his life burns. Their every blow is filled with rage - the embodiment of anger and thirst for battle.

Rage boils up in barbarians when they take damage themselves or when they deal vicious blows to their enemies. As more and more damage is received from opponents (as well as in the process of striking back), the rage of the barbarian reaches the limit.

An excess of rage can be devastating to an opponent: the barbarian can jump high into the air to fall on the enemy from above, cut them in two, or deliver a crushing blow to the ground so that it rises under the enemy's feet.

Outside of combat, rage quickly decreases, so an experienced barbarian, having finished a fight, immediately rushes into a new battle in order to be able to deliver his devastating blows without a break.

Barbarians are cruel loners. They never shy away from a fight. Powerful ground-shaking strikes, jumping attacks and a pair of blades whistling through the air can destroy opponents in a jiffy, and those lucky ones who managed to survive are forced to run without looking back if they want to save their lives.

Due to their size and strength in close combat, barbarians are capable of using almost any combination of weapons and fighting style; however, as a rule, they prefer heavy and imposing weapons. They are not afraid of pain and wounds, and often prefer to strike and get hit in the thick of enemies than to pursue single targets.

Barbarian attacks are mostly melee oriented. Lightning swings of blades send weak enemies to the other world in a fraction of a second, and ground-shaking blows knock down approaching enemies and can break through the armor of even the strongest.

Story

"The ancients have blessed me."

Barbarians lived for many centuries at the foot of Mount Arreat. These are people of unbending, stone will and incredible strength. Fierce, of enormous growth, they have been fulfilling their duty since birth - to protect the sacred mountain.

The tragedy that destroyed their homeland also destroyed the faith in the hearts of many of them. The once great people are now wandering all over the world, forgetting about their past and honor, forgetting about duty.

But not all barbarians are like that. There are those who did not give up, who did not forget about their destiny. The harsh snows of the summit of Arreat have not been erased from their memory. They remember how, in the years when city children still play with toys, they, barbarians, were handed battle axes and spears ... and conscience burns them like fire. True true barbarians do not forget that they did not fulfill their duty and failed to defend Arreat.

In search of a new meaning to life, the barbarians will stop at nothing and are ready to destroy anyone who gets in their way.

Introduction

If you want to play calmly, while drinking coffee so as not to fall asleep, play as a barbarian tank. This guide is definitely not for you. It's about the Barbarian with a full focus on damage. We will survive due to such characteristics as "Life Steal". Simply put, a certain percentage of the damage we deal is converted into health, healing the barbarian. And the fool understands that in this case, the survival rate will increase directly with an increase in DPS (Damage per Second).

Characteristics

Priority of characteristics that affect damage:

Strength > Critical Strike Chance (about 40%) = Critical Damage > Attack Speed

Priority of protective characteristics:

Lifesteal > Armor > All Elemental Resistances > Percentage of Health > Vitality

Life Steal (lifesteal)

The parameter on which the entire game for the DD-barbarian will be based. Found on weapons and belts. Thanks to the passive "Frenzy" we get 3% even without proper equipment. Approximately three percent from each weapon and another three from the belt. As a result, we get 12%! Everything would be fine, but the developers did not like such a large figure, and they decided to "cut" this parameter a little. The point is that on "Inferno" efficiency Life Steal-a decreases by as much as 80%. At first glance, it might seem that Life on Hit will be better than Life Steal, but this is true only for tanks.

Let's count: 12x20/100=2.4

As you can see, when dealing damage, we will only receive 2.4% of it as health. Even in the first act, crits will fly out at about 65k.

Let's count again: 65000x2.4/100=1560

With such a small blow, we regenerate 1560 health, which is very good. Given that the probability of a critical hit is approximately 40%, then we will restore ~1700 health after every 2-3 hits. Note that I counted regeneration with act 1 gear. Further more.

Consider healing with the perfect gear. Let's assume that you already have 50% crit chance, massive damage, and high crit damage. Every second hit will deal at least 250k. In this case, every 2 hits restore the barbarian 6000 HP (250000x2.4/100). Let's compare this value with the characteristic Life on Hit, and for this two. To achieve such HP regeneration, you need exactly 3000LoH, and such a value is almost impossible (or very difficult) to collect.

Force

The main characteristic of the barbarians. Greatly increases all damage, and also increases the amount of armor. Definitely the most useful feature. It is desirable to have on each subject. The value to aim for - 2000 .

Agility

Slightly increases your chance to dodge attacks. Not very important, but can sometimes help. We do not collect.

Intelligence

Increases resistances to all elements (100 intellect is 10 resistances to everything). Resistances are very necessary for the class, but collecting intelligence is superfluous. It is much easier to get resistances "directly".

Armor

Reduces ALL damage received. Nobody wants to die in one hit, right? No need to chase armor at the expense of damage, we are not tanks. Collect as many as you can.

Armor Damage Reduction Calculation

3000 armor reduces all damage taken by 48%

4500 armor reduces all damage taken by 58.06%

7000 armor reduces all damage taken by 68.3%

9000 armor reduces all damage taken by 73.5%

12000 armor reduces all damage taken by 78.7%

17000 armor reduces all damage taken by 83.9%

resistance

The title is already self-explanatory. Reduces damage taken from a certain element (or from all, with the appropriate parameter).

- Act 1 - about 300

Act 2 - 600+

Act 3 - 800+

Act 4 - 1000+

This should be enough to keep the number of deaths to a minimum. The characteristic is very specific, since some people manage to feel good even with low resistance values. You just need to find the settings that you feel comfortable playing with.

Vitality

Affects the character's maximum health. Each point of the characteristic adds 10 HP to us.

- Act 1 - 35000

Act 2 - 40000

Act 3 - 45000

Act 4 - 50000

The values are approximate, since you can safely sacrifice a few thousand HP in favor of resistances or armor (see the priority of protective characteristics).

Critical Strike Chance

The minimum requirement to play Act 1 is 30% (no buffs, of course). In almost the best equipment, you need to reach the 50% bar. This will significantly increase both our damage and healing from Life Steal-A.

Critical Damage

A very important parameter for us. As can be seen from the stat priority, the importance of critical damage is approximately equal to the probability of a critical hit. Aim for a stat above 400%, but it will be very difficult to achieve this due to the high prices of good weapons with gem sockets.

Selection of things

Helmet

Mandatory with strength, survivability, resistances and critical strike chance. If possible, also a socket with a purple stone for a bonus to health.

Shoulders

It's just strength, vitality and resistance to everything.

Amulet

There are several options. The ideal is strength, survivability, crit chance and critical damage, but such amulets with good indicators can hit the pocket well, so you can sacrifice survivability, for example.

Body

Strength, survivability, resistances, gem sockets.

Gloves

Strength, vitality, crit chance and damage. In addition, you can also find attack speed.

Bracers

Strength, survivability, resistances, critical strike chance.

Belt

Lifesteal, strength, vitality, resistance to all elements.

Rings

Percentage of health, chance and / or damage of a critical hit, attack speed, strength.

Legs

Strength, Vitality, Resistances, 2 Gem Sockets.

Shoes

All elemental resistances, 12% movement speed, strength, survivability.

Weapon

Two one-handed swords (because of high attack speed and 15% increase in all damage) with sockets and lifesteal. It is also desirable to have an increase in critical damage (excluding the stone). Insert emeralds.

Choice: there is no clear answer. Try to run with the spellcaster and the scoundrel and decide for yourself. It all depends on your personal preferences. For example, I don't like this Lyndon.

With each new patch for Diablo 3, players are given more and more opportunities to experiment with their character. In Diablo 3, the barbarians boast a huge range of skills, which allows you to create a unique character with the most suitable skills. Compared to heroes such as a demon hunter or sorcerer, barbs have the opportunity to pick up a build for any type of damage and monster power for several tens of millions of gold. Playing the diablo 3 barbarian, you can complete all four acts in a short time at all difficulty levels.

The choice of build for farming and passing depends entirely on the preferences of the player, but first it is recommended to read the description of the main characteristics and abilities of the character. In diablo 3, you can farm an inferno barbarian using any build, but the speed of completing acts depends on the effectiveness of the build.

Build diablo 3 barbarian with double tornado (lacerations)

Back in patch 1.0.4, this build had a different name, but after the release of monster power levels, the need to use a shout to increase resistance to all elements has dropped significantly. Shout is best used only when it is not possible to purchase or knock out good equipment for the character. If you wish, you can order rare items in Diablo 3 online stores, which will allow you to easily run through the most dangerous places in the game. In diablo 3, inferno barbarians also prefer increased movement speed, which allows them to move around the area as quickly as possible. In turn, the barbarian now uses lacerations in Diablo 3 much more often due to a good bonus to damage and survivability, although the character's resistances are slightly reduced. Farming barbarian diablo 3 third and fourth acts with this build is very fast, as high damage and high movement speed allows you to collect half a card in one go. Of the gear, it is worth noting the effectiveness of the Immortal King set with stones to increase survivability, and it is also necessary to always have a belt with 3% lifesteal on the character.

When choosing a weapon, it is worth noting the purchase of Contempt with a socket. This weapon has a high level of physical damage, and the bonuses to the stats are quite high. In Diablo 3 Inferno, the barbarian farms fast with at least 40% critical chance. Critical chance can be increased with rings, amulets, gloves, and a helmet.

Basic skills:

  • crushing blow (onslaught)
  • whirlwind (hurricane)
  • lacerations (bloodlust)
  • sprint (with wind speed)
  • battle rage (into hell)
  • Berserker's Wrath (Eternal Chaos)

Passive Skills:

  • mastery of weapons
  • bloodlust
  • frenzy

Build diablo 3 barbarian tank

Some players very often fail to play diablo 3 barbarian due to frequent deaths in the early game and lack of equipment for effective farming. Don't try to immediately deal maximum damage to the barbarian, as this is only possible if you have good gear with both attacking and defensive bonuses. In Diablo 3, the tanking barbarian is great at clearing any obstacles on any difficulty level, although his damage is much less than that of the tornado build. When attacking diablo 3 epic bosses, the barbarian will tank all the damage with ease, while the allies do damage to them without being distracted. The main parameters for an effective tanking build are: resistances to all elements, maximum health and armor. Absorbing all the damage in Diablo 3, barbarian can single-handedly kill any boss, but it will take a very long time. In general, for farming hell in diablo 3 as a barbarian, you need to remember about the best weapons for solo play, and the maximum resistance for co-op.

Basic skills:

  • madness (madness)
  • revenge (provocation)
  • lacerations (bloodlust)
  • resistance to pain (blissful induction)
  • battle rage (marauder's rage)
  • war cry (impunity)

Passive Skills:

  • hardness
  • nerves of steel
  • bloodlust

A bit of history: Barbarians were always considered respected warriors with a strong masculine character and incredible strength. Since ancient times, they lived at the foot of Mount Arreat, but the tragic events completely destroyed their faith. And now, instead of a normal, quiet life among their own people, they began to wander the world all alone. They forgot about honor, about all the old principles, taking part in other people's fights and dying in them, which is completely meaningless for them and their peoples. All these countless deaths and wars are solely in order to be able to find at least some goal that could fill their empty life with a higher meaning. Despite all the emerging difficulties, there remained a handful of brave men who did not want to give up and give up. They remember, to this day, the snow-capped peaks of Arreat, and keenly feel all the pain of loss. They pass all new tests and are not going to stop in this struggle.

The barbarian in Diablo 3 is a kind of tank, reckless bursting into the thick of enemies and crushing everyone with his heavy blows. The nice thing is that the death rate is significantly lower compared to the demon hunter. In order to die at the first difficulty level, playing a barbarian, you must either be naked or have crooked hands, or a mouse that keeps passing out. It is also very pleasing that the barbarian does not really need to look for a suitable party for a joint passage. And farming barbarian gear in order to sell it on the auction house is much easier compared to other classes that have to buy gold in Diablo 3.

The main feature of the conduct of the battle by the barbarians is to keep the enemy near him and the onslaught rested on him, diverting all the main enemy forces onto himself. Barbarians in close combat cut absolutely everyone to smithereens, scattering the carcasses of the enemy in different directions. Using primary attacks, your character will accumulate a certain amount of rage, which can be used for brutal attacks. Another useful difference from the demonhunter is the lack of two resources to carry out attacks. It is very annoying to keep track of the amount and discipline and hatred. In addition to attacks, barbarians can perform warcries that not only place useful buffs on allies, but also demoralize the enemy. The barbarian tank becomes very useful due to the large amount of armor and lives. These rock-like bumpkins, in addition to their characteristics, can pull huge shields behind them, which will block part of the damage done to them.

So, a guide to the barbarian. Characteristics of barbarians in Diablo 3:

The highest priority characteristic for barbarians is strength. It perfectly increases all the damage done and at the same time increases the armor indicators. There is nothing to even think about here, strength is the most useful characteristic, which should be emphasized. Each item worn must have at least a small bonus to strength. Any barbarian needs to try to reach a strength value of 2000. Agility is not so important for a barbarian, but it can sometimes help out. It increases the ability to evade attacks, that is, it will fully help to avoid damage. But still, it makes no sense to collect items for agility - this is the prerogative of the monk and demon hunters. With the help of high intelligence, the hero's resistance to all elements without exception increases. Every 100 intelligence points adds 10 resistance to everything. Of course, consider the fact that the barbarian is a melee character, it's pointless to collect intelligence anyway. The easiest way is to directly increase the resistances by collecting the appropriate bonuses in the items. Armor reduces all damage taken by the character. A large amount of armor makes the Barbarian invulnerable and more resistant in moments of massive attacks. If you decide to focus specifically on the tank, you can dress with as much armor as possible. If you want to maintain a balance between defense and attack, simply do not get hung up on this indicator.

As mentioned above, damage is primarily affected by strength. The second priority is critical damage and an indicator of the likelihood of a critical strike. One of the priority indicators should be the attack speed. It is clear that the more you strike in the shortest possible time, the more total damage will be dealt. First of all, we choose vampirism as priority protective characteristics. With it, you will simultaneously take out monsters and pump out health from them, while replenishing your own with them. We can say that this is a basic skill when playing a dp-barbarian, since he does not have much of his stamina and has to be replaced by draining health from enemies.

This parameter can hang on weapons and belts. By using a passive ability, you can get 3% Frenzy without any bonuses in items. Two weapons will give 3% of the belt and about 6% lifesteal. It seems like a total of as much as 12% is obtained. But the ever-experiencing blizzards decided to cut this happiness for the barbarians to some extent. From now on, the useful effectiveness of lifesteal on Inferno will drop by 80 percent, which, in general, is not cool at all. Some players are of the opinion that the Life on Hit skill is preferable to a simple lifesteal, but this is not the case. Life on Hit is tailored more for tanks, but vampirism is suitable for DD.

Now everything can be calculated using the formula 12*20/100=2.4. From this it can be seen that if the crits will slip, then only 2.4% will go into the pumped out health. Critical hits in the first act will deal approximately 65k damage. 65k*2.4/100=1.5k. It turns out that even with this rather weak blow, we will regenerate 1.5 to HP, which is not a bad indicator at all. If we take into account the crit chance, which is 40%, then the health regen will be approximately 1600 HP for every few hits. In addition, you will definitely put on better gear, and this, accordingly, additional damage and regen will also increase. What effect of vampirism will we get with good clothes? For example, you scored 50 percent crit chance, an acceptable amount of critical damage, and as a result, almost every third or fourth hit will take off more than 250 thousand HP. It turns out - every second, third hit will bring your Persian 6k health as a regen. It is almost impossible to achieve such a result using the Life on Hit parameter. Even if you achieve such indicators, the forces that were expended on this are simply large, and besides, they are not justified.

The next important parameter for a barbarian in Diablo 3 is survivability. It is thanks to survivability that you can increase your maximum health reserve. 10 points of health adds each point of survivability. It is best that by the 4th act you have accumulated more than 50 thousand health. However, if you sag in terms of resistances or armor, then it is better to replace things with survivability with these parameters.

In the first act, the probability of a pure Persian crit in good hands should be about 30%. If you put on more or less good gear, then the possibility of crit should reach approximately 50%. This will increase not only the damage from hits, but also the healing from the application of Life Steal. It is also very important to have optimal critical damage. In general, the amount of damage dealt by crits and the probability of a crit are the same for us. The best option is to strive for an indicator in excess of 400%, but you are unlikely to succeed without buying quite expensive clothes at the auction. In addition, it will be necessary to hammer all the sockets with the most expensive stones.

It is very important for your character to choose the right clothes. Stability in battle depends on this, and how quickly you will defeat your opponents.

The helmet must have a bonus to survivability and strength, it is advisable to pay attention to the crit chance and resistances in addition. If the helmet has a free socket, it is best to hammer it with a purple stone in order to get a bonus to health.

In general, nothing complicated with shoulder pads. Just focus on maximum survivability and strength, plus resistance to all elements.

Ideally, an amulet should have a good amount of critical hit chance, survivability, strength, and the highest possible critical hit bonus. If you have no problems with gold, then, without hesitation, take such an amulet. If everything is not very rosy with money, then it would be better to sacrifice vitality.

Choose a chestplate with the highest survivability and strength, in addition, it is best that it has a couple of stone sockets and good resistance.

We take gloves with survivability, strength and a bonus to the possibility of crit and, accordingly, damage from it. It's great if you can afford to get gloves with an increase in attack speed, but these items are usually very expensive.

Again, bracers should be with an increase in survivability, strength, crit chance and resistance.

Be sure to look for a belt that has a bonus to lifesteal, keep in mind that there are very few such things. In addition to lifesteal, pay attention to indicators of magic resistance, vitality and strength.

We are looking for rings with a crit probability, a percentage increase in health, attack speed, and also with the main element, that is, strength.

Like everything else, leggings should have survivability plus strength, two gem sockets, and magic resistance.

Boots can be taken for a bonus to magic resistance, advancement speed, survivability and strength.

The weapon for the barbarian is essentially a key point, his choice must be approached in the most serious way. The most optimal choice is two one-handed swords (but only if your defense indicators are sufficient and you will not lie down from the first pack of mobs). And the thing is that they have a fairly good attack speed and there are bonuses to increase damage. Of course, two sockets must be present in the swords (feel free to stuff emeralds into them), as well as a bonus to vampirism. It will also be extremely useful to choose swords that have a crit bonus. It should be said right away that it is better to immediately forget about two-handed swords. It seems to be, yes, you are the best barbarian and it’s obscene for you to run around with small “knives” and you really want to take some colossus at the ready, but you will constantly die with it. The best option for wadded characters is a one-handed weapon and in addition some good shield. So, you will significantly reduce the level of damage received, and your survival rate can increase dramatically.

Capabilities. Everyone has their own wishes in choosing abilities, and you can easily choose a build for a barbarian according to a particular style of play.

Below is a guide to the barbarian in Diablo 3 in the form of a list of skills that simplify the passage of the Inferno difficulty level.

Frenzy. This skill is used to attack single targets. You will deal 110% weapon damage with each hit and generate 3 rage. Moreover, each hit inflicted by about 15% will add to the attack speed. This buff will stack five times, so five hits will grant you a temporary +75% hit speed buff. Frenzy is great for boss fights with no minions or elite bosses where you only need to take out one target at a time. If you are going through acts with large packs of insignificant mobs, then the best option is to use Cleave, since this ability attacks several opponents at the same time.

seismic slam. This ability is simply amazing, because in addition to good damage, it is possible to knock back enemies who have taken us into the environment, which means that our ability to reduce the number of our own deaths. Using this ability, you can urgently heal, and continue the fight with renewed vigor. If you take Shattered Ground as runes, you can make killing bosses with adds much easier. If knockback and AoE attacks don't play a big role for you, then you can easily increase the damage from this ability with the help of the Cracking rift rune.

Ignore Pain. It is very difficult to overestimate the benefit of this skill. This ability makes you a wild tank for five seconds, in which the amount of damage taken is reduced by 65%. If you have good damage, then you can use the Ignorance is Bliss rune, as it gives excellent healing rates during mob attacks.

Revenge. When using this skill, the enemy will receive 220% damage from your weapon, and you will replenish 5% from each hit. In addition, the ability automatically activates with a 15% chance when taking any damage. Conclusion - this skill must be taken. The most interesting thing is that if there are a lot of mobs, then you will receive a lot of damage, and the probability of an automatic buff will increase, and this “with even hands” will make you practically invulnerable.

War Cry. Great ability for a multiplayer game. She gives a 20% increase to the armor of allies and at the same time only eats 30 units of rage. However, the most buzz of this ability can be found using the Impunity rune and other barbarian skills in Diablo 3. Each player must understand that without normal indicators of inferno resistances, one simply cannot survive. With the help of this rune, the character increases resistance to all attacks, which greatly simplifies farming and passing inferno.

Wrath of the Berseker. An incredible ability that gives a huge amount of bonuses. With it, you will get an increase in attack speed, critical damage chance and dodge chance, and another nice bonus will be an increase in movement speed. In this case, you can choose any runes. In addition, the ability is perfect for passing acts where there are a lot of control mobs, since it makes you immune to various control effects and, if you are already under their influence, removes them.

Hammer of the Ancints. When using this ability along with the Smash rune, weapon damage will be 270%, which is very acceptable for a top barbarian. On top of that, AOE skill, so that several mobs will be hit at once, and at the end of a series of nice +5 percent to critical hit. This giant hammer deals amazing damage and helps to quickly take out both a crowd of opponents and lone elites.

Ground Stomp. Also quite an interesting skill. Your hero creates a powerful stomp on the ground and all enemies that are nearby get a stun effect for four seconds, which is pretty cool if you use the mass skills of the barbarian in Diablo 3 at this time. Of course, many mobs on inferno will resist the effect of this ability, so use her at the very least. Ability cooldown = 12 seconds. It's up to you to decide whether to use it or not.

Now let's take a look at passive skills.

Nerves of Steel. Works great with large stacks of survivability. The more survivability you have, the better, respectively, since the barbarian is much more difficult to endure inferno, in comparison with previous difficulty levels, even if you add them into one. If you want to choose this particular passive skill, then pay attention to the fact that you should have 40,000 health, if you don’t have it, then go to the auction at a pace and pull up the stats with new gear.

Tough as Nails. If you choose the previous skill for yourself, then you must take it without fail. You will be a kind of killing machine, which has a lot of power, good armor, and a lot of lives! Take it without hesitation.

Relentless. When you start to sag in HP, and death is already approaching in speed, you immediately need to use the ability to ignore pain, so damage will be reduced by 83%. The best option is to combine the taunt rune with Revenge + this is a passive skill - this will result in excellent resistance to enemy attacks. As soon as they start kicking you painfully, and you realize that you won’t last long, use your abilities and take out all the enemies quickly.

It seems to have been sorted out. So, at the initial difficulty levels, it doesn’t matter who to fight against: even with bosses, even with simple mobs, even with elites. But on the inferno, everything is much more complicated, here a typical Elite can cause a lot of problems and send you to the next world again and again. Let's analyze some of the abilities of elite mobs and methods of effective fight against them.

Plague. The main thing in the fight against such an elite is not to allow yourself to be squeezed into a corner and backed up against the wall. Move as much as possible and take out control mobs first.

Arcane Enchanter. Here everything is similar to the Plague. Do not stand still, run, only in this case you can survive.

Shields. This affix for the barbarian is unpleasant because the damage does not pass when striking, which means that we cannot heal due to vampirism. If ordinary mobs run nearby, then take them out in order to somehow compensate for the loss of health. As soon as you notice that the elite has gone into the shield, immediately switch to petty targets. Otherwise, there is nothing complicated, the main thing is to find a way to heal.

Fire targets. The important point here is to follow the fight, and as soon as you take damage from entanglement in chains, try to heal yourself in time. In general, as soon as you quickly begin to die, you need to activate the ability to resist pain. Take out the elite as quickly as possible, otherwise you will die.
