Creating some kind of composition, you simply draw the desired item and apply a suitable style to it. Most often, styles are used to quickly create text effects.

View existing styles by opening the Styles window.

How to Apply Style
Create some image or inscription in a separate layer, then select some style in the Styles palette and look at the result. If you want to draw a drawing tool (pencil or brush) immediately in style, you first select the style and then draw.

How to save style in the photoshop program
If the experiment has passed successfully and you like the style, you should save the changes using the New Style button located in the upper right corner of the Layer Style panel immediately under OK and Cancel. Click on it, and a new style will appear in the Styles panel.
How to save style in a separate file
Styles can only be saved as a set in one file. If you want to create a set of new styles, it is better to first clean the panel of layers from unnecessary styles, then create new and save them separately. To save, press the round button with the triangle and select Save Styles from the list.
Need to remember that
The style acts on all the details of the images that are in one layer. If you want to create an image using different styles, then create a picture from different layers and apply the effects for each layer separately.
If the style when applied is not entirely adequately, then change the permission from the file with which you work. Menu Image (Image)\u003e Image Size (Image Size), in the window with options, pay attention to the Resolution string (resolution). Some styles do not work correctly when resolving 300 dpi, and if you change the value to 72 dpi, then everything will be fine.
When the image size changes, the style elements are scalable.
To avoid this, there is an easy way: add a new transparent layer and combine a layer with a style with this new transparent layer (the Merge context menu command). After that, transform as you want.
