PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Gas analyzers of explosive vapors "Signal-4" (hereinafter referred to as the gas analyzer) are designed to determine pre-explosive concentrations of explosive vapors such as methane, propane, gasoline vapors, hydrocarbons and others, oxygen, as well as toxic vapors such as ammonia, nitrogen and sulfur oxides , hydrogen sulfide.

Scope of gas analyzers - measurements and supply alarm when the specified level of concentration of explosive and toxic vapors is exceeded in sampling sites, basements, wells and other rooms of technological facilities class B-I, V-1a and outdoor installations of class V-1g, where, according to the operating conditions, the formation of explosive mixtures of category PV is possible.

DESCRIPTION

The gas analyzer is a portable measuring device with convection supply of a controlled medium.

Structurally, the gas analyzer consists of a plastic case with a battery pack and an alarm unit placed inside it. The sensor is docked directly to the body of the gas analyzer through a connector, or through an extension cable.

The principle of operation of the gas analyzer is based on measuring the electrical signal coming from the gas sensitive sensor, which is proportional to the concentration of the measured substance within the measurement range.

As sensitive sensors in sensors designed to measure methane, propane, gasoline vapors and other hydrocarbons in atmospheric air, thermal catalytic sensors are used, in sensors for ammonia vapor - semiconductor sensors, in sensors for oxygen and toxic vapors - electrochemical sensors.

Each sensor is configurable for only one component with light and sound signal izatsii when exceeding the level of gas contamination in the controlled area.

When discharging battery below the reference voltage level (4.2 V) electronic circuit detector turns on the sound signal and turns off the LED indicating the operating status of the device.
