UPDATE: in the comments they say that a QIWI virtual card is also suitable - it is not tied to an address. This reduces the amount of crap a lot, try it and let me know if it works.
UPDATE 2: also rolls a virtual Yandex.Money card, and it is much more convenient than Qiwi, since it can be replenished, and it is valid for a year, not three months.
2) American VPN.
I want to emphasize that, although you violate the ToS - all this is absolutely legal from point of view law methods. You don't have to cheat and almost no need to falsify the data. We will need any plastic card from a Russian bank, documents, a camera or scanner, and a little patience.

Getting a card
The EntroPay service allows absolutely legal get a virtual American Visa or MasterCard without being tied to any address or name. All you need to do after that is to periodically replenish the balance on the card in any convenient way. Naturally, there are commissions - 5% is charged for replenishment. These are gigantic sums, but they are unlikely to make a significant gap in the budget.Again, I draw your attention to the fact that we need EntroPay only for Netfilx payment, as Netflix checks the country where the card is issued. Scan-photograph the page from the passport with the last name and photo, the registration page and some official letter, if you have one, go to HELPDESK, create an activation request and attach pictures. I didn’t have any official letters, so I had to correspond with support and persuade them, pointing out that in Russia the registration address is required in the passport, the passport is the only legitimate identity card, and no additional identifications are needed. Finally the account was activated.

Registering an American VPN

Tweaking a VPN

I didn’t really do anything during the holidays, I just watched movies and had a lot of rest. Of course, he indulged in the sin of devouring serials =)
You yourself know that in recent years in Russia there has been a zealous fight against pirate sites that host unlicensed videos. Let's face it, it's getting harder and harder for freeloaders to find the right movie.
And then I found out that a giant of the global video rental market called NetFlix.Com became available in Russia. It entered the Russian market just yesterday, on January 6th.
Of course, I immediately decided to test in order to understand how much I need it. At the same time, I decided to compare it with the Amediateka service, of which I became a subscriber a year and a half ago (de facto, this is the Russian analogue of Netflix).
Why are competitors afraid of NetFlix? Yes, because it is a huge business machine that operates in 130 countries and has a subscriber base of 50 million people. Naturally, Russian cinemas tensed up in anticipation of this monster.

Cons for Russia
- I repeat that entering the Russian video rental market with an English interface is a very strange decision. It remains to be hoped that soon at least the site will be translated into Russian.
- To date, few TV series and films have been translated into Russian. Sorting or filtering for already translated films into Russian film does not hurt at all. Even the profile settings do not have the ability to select the Russian language.
- Pretty confusing registration (and again there is no Russian language).
- Few payment methods. De facto, there is only Visa, since most Russians do not know about PayPal at all. Ideally, you need to add Yandex.Money + WebMoney + SberbankOnline.
My verdict
In my opinion, NetFlix hastened to enter our market. Already at the first steps of registration in the service, a lot of questions arise that can be solved only by knowing the English language. Well, there are gaps with the voice acting, frankly.
It turns out that today Netflix is useful only for those who know English (or want to learn it by watching films in a foreign language). To be honest, all this is more like an emergency launch, because they didn’t meet the deadlines, but they need to be launched.
I will watch for another month and most likely unsubscribe if the situation with transfers does not change for the better.
And for our video rental services, you don’t have to worry at all, to be honest. But if everyone finishes and translates, then competitors' marketers will run around the ceiling, trying to survive in competition with NetFlix =)

I chose the rate STANDARD to try the service on both laptop and smartphone. I don't need Ultra HD - regular HD will suffice.
I entered my email address and password into the appropriate form, after which the system offered to choose a payment method.
I have a virtual card master card, so I chose the first item.
The details of the selected tariff are highlighted above the form to fill out + the date when the trial period ends is shown. Pay attention to the date format: the first digit is the month, then the day, and then the year. My trial period will end on 2/8/16, i.e. February 8, 2016. Until then, there will be no charge for using the service and I can cancel my subscription at any time without any financial consequences. We fill in the fields as indicated in your card, or according to the rules of the virtual card. The fields are filled in Latin letters. The first is capital, the next are capital.

If I go to my profile - there will be all the programs, if in the profile KIDS- only children's films, cartoons, series.

When the choice is made and we want to watch an episode/episode/movie, a player opens in the same browser window, which has navigation through the entire season, you can scroll (that is, we need to choose a place), you can choose language for the series, and subtitles. As of January 8, 2016, there was no Russian language in the tracks or subtitles. Since I know English quite well, this is not a problem for me, but rather a chance to practice once again and remember the forgotten. I really liked the navigation - fast and convenient!

You are given the opportunity to try the service for quite a long time in order to finally decide whether I need it or not, whether it will work with my Internet, how high-quality content is placed in the online cinema. You can evaluate all the advantages and disadvantages and only then make a decision, and not immediately take a pig in a poke, and then spit and demand money back.

There are no restrictions on online viewing. You can watch anything and everything. It is worth remembering that the system is equipped with copy protection of DRM materials.
With my Internet, all videos load and work quite quickly (I work via Wi-fi). If you connect via cable - then it will be generally gorgeous to fly.
A huge variety of series and children's programs. Who really has nothing to do with themselves - it will be the most. There are different situations. Someone wants to be distracted, someone is sick, someone is moping.

What do I did not like on the Netflix service:
The service was launched in Russia, and everything is in English - from the menu to the series, films and programs themselves. So far, access to the platform has been opened, and we'll see what happens next.
Pretty high price per month for a non-adapted version. Of course, it's good to watch in English, but for such babos everything should be translated into Russian... Otherwise, the meaning is lost.
Not very convenient navigation within the series in the application on the smartphone. When you just start the series, everything is fine, but then you simply can’t enter the navigation.
A modest selection of films - they are in the catalog insofar as. For variety.
The repertoire for each country is separate. That is, materials available in the United States or in other countries may be blocked in Russia. I do not like such restrictions - some kind of discrimination is obtained on a geographical basis.
I put the online viewing service Netflix three stars and I recommend it to those who know English very well or learn it, who want to taste a huge selection of serial novelties online, at the same time with the whole world. So far I like everything. As new enthusiasm and comments appear, the review will be updated (see the date in the title).
PS: Compared the content Netflix and their direct competitor Hulu(they are closed to all countries except the USA). Eh ... Netflix, unfortunately, is much poorer both in terms of quantity and interesting content. Someone there at the launch of Netflix promised that they would crush Amediateka... Something does not seem so to me. So far, all the cards are in the hands of Amediateka, and if they lower the price, they will generally win the "battle" with the international giant in a single country.
