There is no point in writing a separate full review for the iPhone SE. This is a waste of my time to write and yours to read. After all, we all know that this is a mixture of iPhone 5s and iPhone 6s. But why, then, are so many questions revolving around the novelty? In this article, I will try to reveal as much as possible the meaning of the release of such a device and tell you about its pros and cons.

No. This is a new old iPhone. It's like looking at tomorrow! It looks like a “hello” from 2012, but it works like a “good afternoon” from our time. Yes, I know that your grandchildren used an iPhone with this design, but damn it, I said then and now I will say - this design turned out to be even too successful. But why wasn't it released in a new design? To be honest, I also expected to see a novelty in the style of iPhone 6:
But this did not happen and we saw the old case from the iPhone 5 / 5s. Let's think about why this is convenient for Apple.
- No need to start new production. Since there is no calculation for huge sales, there is no need to invest extra money in production.
- ... .. no, the campaign is only about the bubble.
But after all, this can also be written as a plus for users, because we can easily change our 5s or even 5 to SE and not buy new accessories.
Someone does not understand why he was released at all?
It seems to me that the SE release is easy to explain. If only because Steve Jobs thought it was the right format for a smartphone. And yes, while content consumption has changed, not everyone needs big smartphones. And if everyone, then it's okay, everyone will take and buy themselves an iPhone 6 / 6s, or even pluses, Apple will see that no one needs small displays and will simply stop producing.
So that no one has any questions, I sat, thought and wrote all the pros and cons of the new iPhone SE. Just not like everyone else, who even the absence of USB Type-C as a disadvantage, is doing, but as objectively as possible.

- It is small. This means it's easier to fit in a shorts pocket or skinny jeans. It can be easily used with one hand. In fact, there are advantages to being compact!
- It's inexpensive. This is the cheapest iPhone with top specs, the 16 version costs $ 400, and the 64 version costs $ 500. For comparison, the 6S with the same storage capacity is $ 250 more expensive!
- It fits all the accessories from the iPhone 5s, of which there are a lot of both on sale and from friends who used 5s. I had a lot of them. And the same cases with batteries or shockproof covers cost a lot of money!
- He's very fast. The small case accommodates the A9 processor, the M9 coprocessor and 2 GB of RAM, which means that it will handle absolutely any games, video editors and other demanding devices for a long time.
- The main camera does not stick out. Especially for those who have popped acne from her.
- He has a gorgeous camera with all the necessary chips like 4K, SloMo up to 240 fps, software stabilization and 12 MP. Perfect for mobile photography!

- It is small. For most, this is no longer a plus, since playing, watching videos, and reading social networks or any other text on it is not as convenient as on large displays. But this minus is very relative, because Apple offers a choice of 4.7 ”and even 5.5. Therefore, it is just an alternative.
- It has an old design. Yes, firstly, he is boring, and secondly, no one will understand that you have a new iPhone.
- It has a small battery. Although it has increased compared to the 5s, it is only 82 mAh and is 1642 mAh. Although the 6s does not have much more capacity - 1715 mAh. And the SE feels like it lives longer than 6s.
- It doesn't have a front camera. 1.2 MP in science is rounded to zero. Seriously, it's not even funny today! As well as the fact that 6s and 6s plus front cameras do not write video in 1080p.

Some thoughts. Some may say that the power of the iron is hard to use as a downside. After all, editing video or playing demanding 4 "games is not very convenient. But damn it, buy 6s or 6s Plus! Here iron, rather, for a large deposit for the future. Even after 2-3 years, fresh operating systems and applications will be quietly spinning on it.
Some may call the lack of memory cards, two SIM cards, water resistance and other such things as disadvantages. But wait a minute, the iPhone never had them, so the lack of a TV, a second E-ink display and curved edges of the main one can be safely attributed to the disadvantages.
Also, I will not call the lack of 3D Touch or the second generation Touch ID scanner as a minus, because otherwise it would not be clear why lower the cost by 250 bucks!
Well, the cost in rubles or UAH is definitely not a minus. This is our economy, baby! But in reality, for 400 bucks in terms of the sum of characteristics, there is nothing like this anymore.
Who should buy it?
It's clear that for people like me who have already got the new 6s, there is no point in changing it to SE. But there are many people who still use iPhone 4s, 5, 5s, all of them can now relatively inexpensively upgrade to completely new hardware! And some (5 / 5s) still do not change accessories. It may sound strange, but even for iPhone 6 users, it makes sense to change if the display size is not very important, because SE works much better. 2 GB of RAM and a new processor with graphics make the difference. As I said, it makes no sense for me to change my 6s, but if I were now with 5s, I would most likely buy the 64 GB iPhone SE.
