Lenovo TAB A10: specifications and reviews. Lenovo TAB A10: specifications and reviews Mobile technologies and data transfer speeds

Lenovo is well known for not being shy about experimenting with design, including tablets. And her Yoga series was completely copied by numerous compassionate Chinese who want to offer something original to the market. However, the Tab 2 A10-70 gets a classic look.

The design of the tablet is completely calm, without any "aerodynamic" curves, incomprehensible shapes, designs and grips. In fact, this is a typical rectangle with a screen.

However, it still turned out stylish. A sort of stylish white business tool. There are also black and blue options, but we liked the white one more than the others. He looks more noble or something. Although Lenovo did not follow the fashion trend of narrowing the frame around the display.

The back cover received a matte soft-touch coating. It is flat and only at the edges is made sloping to make the tablet more comfortable to hold in your hands. The Lenovo inscription is engraved in the center, but the main "decoration" here is the perforation on the sides of the camera lens. Under it are the speakers, but in itself this design is very decent.

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L is made of plastic, but this does not interfere with its high-quality performance. The device is really well tailored, all panels are well fitted to each other. But this was not difficult to achieve due to the non-separable case - we have not yet seen anything else with tablets.

At the same time, the product from Lenovo cannot boast of light weight or thickness. They are respectively equal to 509 grams and 8.9 mm. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, these parameters are 453 grams and 7.5 mm. The difference is not critical, but it is present. In general, the heftiness of the Tab 2 A10-70L is felt, although it cannot be said that the hands get tired from long-term use. In any case, you are unlikely to use a 10-inch tablet on the go.

In general, we liked the appearance and quality of the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L. In terms of dimensions and weight, he does not set records, but here everything is quite acceptable.

Connectors and controls

Although a tablet is noticeably larger than a smartphone, it has the same number of controls, and sometimes even less. In addition, the tablet cannot be disassembled.

At the head of the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L is the front camera lens and that's it. There are no light and proximity sensors, a conversational speaker like a phone - you don’t have to put a tablet to your ear.

At the back, two elements are of interest. The first is the rear camera, the lens of which is surrounded by a metal rim. There is no flash - photo opportunities, like many tablets, are cut here.

The second element is the Dolby nameplate to the right of the camera. I guess there is no need to explain what this says about the corresponding sound improvements applied in the Tab 2 A10. The speakers themselves are located on the sides of the camera under the perforation.

At the top of the tablet is a 3.5 mm minijack for headphones and a headset.

The microphone was placed on the bottom side.

On the left are the power button, volume rocker, microUSB connector for charging and a cover over the card slots.

The right end was left empty.

The memory card and SIM card are inserted on the left - they are hidden behind a hinged cover. The tablet works with microSIM and microSD. To install them, you just need to push them in the right direction. But if there are difficulties with this, our short video will help solve the issue:

In terms of ergonomics, the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L is generally comfortable and does not cause any complaints.

Contents of delivery

The Lenovo tablet came to us in a complete set.

The device comes in a small stretched cardboard box.

Inside, in addition to the Tab 2 A10 itself, there is a user manual, a cable for connecting to a charger or a computer, and the charger itself. No headphones or headset. It may be difficult to talk on the tablet - it does not support voice calls over the mobile network - but listening to music or watching videos is more convenient with headphones.

Case for Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70

It turned out to be quite simple to buy a case or cover for Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 - quite a lot of them have been released.

In the simplest version, you can find a fleece bag for the Tab 2 A10-70 tablet. This is sold for 1000 rubles.

A leather bag will cost 1,500 rubles. Although it is one and a half times more expensive, it looks much more solid.

The cover-cover will cost about 1500 rubles. In addition, the cover can serve as a stand.

Screen

Obviously, the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 does not belong to the budget category, and therefore it is logical to expect a screen from it that at least fits the epithet “decent”. Let's say more - in this matter, the Chinese company even has a chance to stand out, since the competing Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a very modest display resolution - 1024x768 pixels. And Lenovo seized this chance.

The tablet offers a working resolution of 1920x1200, which provides a decent pixel density of 218 ppi for devices of this class. This resolution was often used in flagship products 2-3 years ago, and then they switched to 2560x1600 or 2048x1536. Meanwhile, more affordable solutions offer a resolution of 1024x768 or 1280x800, and sometimes middle-class tablets like the aforementioned Galaxy Tab A also “flaunt” it. Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 looks much better against its background with its screen.

Speaking subjectively, the Lenovo tablet screen left a pleasant impression. Good IPS-matrix, wide viewing angles, natural color reproduction, behaves well in the sun. Compared to the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab A we've seen a few times, the picture is noticeably sharper, not as grainy. Of course, the Chinese device is far from the quality of the Galaxy Tab S or Tab S2, but it does not compete with them at all.

The maximum brightness was measured at 380.56 cd/m2, which is decent enough for a tablet. A comfortable level of brightness is achieved by setting the slider somewhere around 30-40% of the maximum. It should also be noted that the black color of the screen is quite deep - at full brightness, it shines at only 0.33 cd / m 2, that is, it does not look very “gray”. The final contrast ratio is 1153:1.

The color gamut of the screen almost completely covered the sRGB space, so you don't have to worry about accurate color reproduction.

The color temperature turned out to be overpriced, at about the same level as most other smartphones and tablets - 8000K. But the image does not look too cold, so everything is in order.

The gamma curve does not look very flat, although there is no serious deviation. In other words, although part of the picture is displayed darker or lighter than the standard, this will not be very noticeable to the eye.

The screen recognizes up to 10 simultaneous touches, which is not surprising - it is clearly not cheap, like the tablet itself. In addition, on a 10-inch display, the ability to work with both hands is most relevant.

The screen settings page turned out to be generally normal, with the exception of the MiraVision section.

Going inside, it turned out that this is a special application for setting up the display.

The application allows you to select a standard color profile, or adjust the image settings yourself. Saturation, contrast, brightness, color temperature (white balance) and sharpness can be adjusted.

Despite some oddity on the gamma curve graph, the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 screen is generally good, with a nice-looking picture, wide viewing angles and special software that allows you to adjust the image for yourself.

Camera

On the camera side of the Tab 2 A10-70, Lenovo made some compromises. The resolution of 8 MP is not the smallest, but you can’t call it large by modern standards either. Although again - the number of megapixels does not mean their quality, and we have a tablet in front of us. And above all, there is no flash.

The camera application is not used standard, but from the Vibe UI proprietary shell. However, it looks very similar to the one that is part of Android. Lenovo just added a couple of additional modes, redrawn the settings.

You can apply filters in real time.

Settings allow you to specify white balance, set exposure, and change other settings.

The maximum photo resolution, according to the settings, is 10 MP. However, the official site says about 8 MP. Yes, and we received pictures with a resolution of 8 MP.

The quality of the shooting is generally normal, but in some places it is good. The frames are not overexposed, the white balance is correct, even the image sharpness is often good. Unless in poor lighting conditions, the pictures come out smeared, but this is a common thing.

The maximum video shooting resolution is 1920x1080, which for some reason is designated as "Best".

The video looks good, just like the photo: the white balance is determined correctly, the video sequence is clear.

The resolution of the front camera is 5 MP, which is very even for a tablet - in fact, at the level of modern selfie phones!

There is only one problem with the front sensor - the white balance is not always correctly determined. But besides this, the pictures come out very even.

The video resolution of the front camera can be "Low" or "High". Behind the "high" is a modest value of 640x480 pixels. Somehow it’s not at all solid against the background of a 5 MP sensor - 1280x720 could easily be provided!

The video quality is generally good, but the VGA resolution spoils everything.

In total, the cameras of the Lenovo tablet more than suited us. These, of course, are not market leaders, but for a tablet everything is very, very decent.

Specifications Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70

If we take the fall of 2015, then Lenovo in this time period within the A series releases three tablets: Tab 2 A7-30, Tab 2 A8-50 and Tab 2 A10-70. It is not difficult to guess that they differ from each other in screen size, and besides this, resolution, processors, and system. So the 7-inch model will not get Android 5.0, while the 10-inch model already has it, and the 8-inch one comes with this initially.

More specifically, our A10-70 is available in two versions: A70-70F and A10-70L. The first is based on the MediaTek MT8165 chip, and the second - MT8732, which differ only in the presence of an LTE module in the second.

There is simply no other difference - the processors have the same frequency of 1.7 GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores, and a Mali-T760 MP2 video card operating at up to 500 MHz. In general, all this looks like a “strong middling”, as well as the Galaxy Tab A with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. In terms of performance, these devices are very close to each other, even in terms of communication - LTE category 4 (up to 150 Mbps) is supported both.

The amount of RAM is 2 GB, which may not be a record high, but not bad for a relatively affordable product. It's nice that Lenovo didn't save here, as well as on the built-in flash memory, installing it at 16 GB. At the same time, expansion with microSD cards up to 64 GB is available.

We cannot say anything else about the characteristics of the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L - the main thing is commented. Unless it can be noted that this tablet surpasses the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 in terms of camera and battery capacity. So the Samsung device looks a little “ugly” against its background. Let's see how things stand with their performance.

Performance Testing

So, the test results of two large tablets: Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Yes, the second one is not so “large”, but apart from the diagonal of the screen, it does not differ at all from the 9.7-inch model. Before moving on to the tests, we note that the product from Lenovo looks more promising: it has a higher frequency processor and a better graphics card, but at the same time a higher screen resolution, which also affects performance.

The old Smartbench 2012 test showed the superiority of the Lenovo tablet - to be expected.

But the Quadrant benchmark somehow liked Samsung, although the difference between them is not very significant.

The new popular Antutu test, which is able to use all the advantages of modern processors, clearly gave the victory to the Lenovo tablet.

And the Chrome browser, judging by the SunSpider JavaScript test, is of the same opinion.

In the old game electopia, both tablets squeezed the maximum out of it - the frame rate ran into VSync limits, which does not exceed 60 FPS.

3DRating shows an advantage on Lenovo's side, but not a very noticeable one. It's interesting to look at other 3D benchmarks.

Here you are - both very serious 3D benchmarks were left for Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L, and even with a two-fold margin!

The autonomy results turned out to be extremely curious if . The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a smaller 6,000 mAh battery, while the Lenovo device has a 7,000 mAh battery. And at the same time, both retained a very decent battery charge after completing all the tasks. What consumes the most energy?

As always, this is the screen, and at the same time resource-intensive tasks like games and surfing through the mobile network. The most interesting thing is that the video is not so voracious, so the Lenovo tablet performs this function very well.

The tablet also has an extreme power saving mode that allows you to save battery power if there is very little left.

Total Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L is really a fast tablet in its price range. It noticeably outperforms its direct competitor in the face of Samsung, which is an excellent recommendation. At the same time, it provides good autonomy, which is also a noticeable plus.

Games for Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L

You saw the results in the 3D tests in the last section, so you can expect the same speed from the Lenovo tablet in games.

  • Riptide GP2: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Asphalt 7: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Asphalt 8: excellent, the game does not slow down;
  • N.O.V.A. 3: Near Orbit: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Modern Combat 5: Blackout: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Dead Trigger: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Real Racing 3: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Need for Speed: Most Wanted: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Shadowgun: Dead Zone: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Frontline Commando: Normandy: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Frontline Commando 2: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Eternity Warriors 2: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Eternity Warriors 3: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Trial Xtreme 3: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Trial Xtreme 4: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • dead effect: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Plants vs Zombies 2: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • Iron Man 3: excellent, the game does not slow down;

  • dead target: excellent, the game does not slow down.

Well, it is. All games, despite the high screen resolution, started without problems and do not slow down at all. There is not even a decrease in graphics quality to raise the FPS level. In other words, for this way of spending leisure time, the Chinese tablet is well suited.

ON

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L came to us with a pre-installed one, which looked a little strange against the background of the general one, and the tablet itself is not cheap, and the 8-inch Lenovo Tab 2 A8-50 had this “fifth android” at its disposal.

However, going into the settings section, it was nice to see a message about the availability of an update. At first it was a minor update, but after installing it, it became possible to download Android 5.0. This is all over the air, without any third-party tools and connecting the tablet to the computer.

When we first turned on the tablet, we saw just such a desktop. This is classic Android 4.4 with Lenovo's Vibe UI proprietary shell on top. Here, as is done on the company's smartphones, a shortcut bar for applications is displayed below, and their general list is on desktops - it is not separated from widgets.

However, in Android 5, the manufacturer decided to change its approach - now the desktops are separated from the list of all applications. All this has become noticeably more reminiscent of the classic Android 5, which is especially clearly seen in the design of the Google folder.

The list of all applications looks quite normal - there are 30 of them on one screen and change by scrolling horizontally.

The notification panel and the quick settings panel combined with it also almost do not differ from the one in the “naked robot”. Only the settings panel has been slightly redesigned.

Lenovo did not touch the list of recent applications at all - they are displayed as tabs.

There are no special settings on the tablet, and the standard ones are only slightly redrawn. They have their own icons, and the sections are displayed in two lists. Only the screen has advanced configuration options, which we described above in the corresponding section.

The tablet received a standard set of proprietary Lenovo applications, one of which is the SYNCit synchronization program. It can save your data to the cloud.

SHAREit and CLONEit are used to exchange data with various devices - smartphones, tablets or computers.

Lenovo did not limit itself to just installing a Dolby nameplate on the tablet body - it has a special Dolby Atmos application for fine-tuning the sound. Here you can either choose a ready-made profile or set your own.

There is a play store. True, we did not see well-known titles here.

Another potentially useful application, or rather a service client, is a book store.

There are also standard utilities like a calendar, calculator, timer, world time, alarm clock and stopwatch.

From a software point of view, Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L suits us quite well - it is a high-quality tablet with a modern system and a good set of software, both proprietary and third-party. At the same time, the interface works quickly and without glitches - the latter were complained about by those updated to Android 5.0. We don’t know what they have there, but we didn’t notice any degradation in the quality of the device.

The only thing that somewhat blurs the impression is that there is no possibility to make calls via the cellular network. The device, we recall, is equipped with a 2G/3G/4G communication module, so theoretically it supports everything, but this function is blocked. Why Lenovo decided to become like Apple with its iPad is not clear - on the same Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets, calls are fully available.

Conclusion

We liked the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L tablet. For the money, it offers excellent functionality and high performance, as well as quality workmanship and even a nice looking design. The device really has a lot of advantages, the main of which are a high-resolution screen, a good processor, decent autonomy.

Separately, it should be noted the possibility of upgrading to Android 5.0. On the one hand, it would be strange to see a 2015 tablet on an older version of the system, but Lenovo got its bearings in time and released an update. The shell received a refreshed design and support for modern technologies.

The tablet camera suits us with more. It takes decent pictures in good lighting conditions, and the video from it comes out pretty good. It's frustrating to not have a flash, but a 10-inch tablet isn't the sort of device you'll be walking around with and taking pictures of. But the video resolution of the front camera could still be made 1280x720.

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L has no serious disadvantages. One of them we just announced - low resolution video recording from the front camera. The second drawback is that it is not possible to make calls over a mobile network, despite the presence of an appropriate module. It is clear that few people use this on a tablet, but anyway - why give up this function?

But the best part about Lenovo's tablet is its price.

Price Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L

You can buy Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L for 18 thousand rubles. The price is quite small, you will agree. For such money with similar characteristics, and even from a well-known brand, you simply will not find anything. In general, the segment of tablets more expensive than 15 thousand rubles with a diagonal of 9-10 "is practically empty. In addition to the considered product, we found only one analogue, which was mentioned more than once above.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 sells for 21,000 rubles if you take the 4G version, while the Wi-Fi-only option is available for 19,000. The tablet comes with Android 5.0 out of the box, has 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal flash memory, 5 MP main camera and 2 MP front camera. But the most depressing thing is the low resolution of the 9.7-inch PLS-screen (analogous to Samsung's IPS-matrix) - 1024x768 pixels. You don't have to be an expert to see the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L lagging behind in almost every way.

We did not find other competitors, and even at about the same price. Samsung Galaxy Tab E costs 16 thousand, but it is noticeably worse in all respects. The ASUS ZenPad 10 looks good, but it's also a step down when you consider its $12,000 price tag. A step higher relative to the Lenovo tablet is devices from 28-30 thousand rubles, such as the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet and Apple iPad Air of both generations.

Pros:

  • low price for its characteristics;
  • update to Android 5.0 available;
  • good screen with the possibility of customization;
  • fast 64-bit processor;
  • stylish design;
  • loud sound with support for advanced settings from Dolby;
  • quality assembly;
  • good camera for a tablet
  • good autonomy.

Minuses:

  • there is no possibility to make calls through the mobile network;
  • low video resolution of the front camera;
  • no headphones or headset included.

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L 16Gb LTE is a mobile digital device (tablet) that went on sale in 2015. The novelty immediately attracted the attention of most buyers. The manufacturer used innovative developments. The tablet is based on the well-known MediaTek processor. High performance is provided by two gigabytes of RAM. And the screen at 10.1ʺ guarantees the user a comfortable pastime. Such characteristics, combined with a price of 18 thousand rubles, can intrigue any buyer.

Design

If you study customer reviews, then Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L in design will pull only a four. The reason for this is the typical design. The case is plastic. The developers have applied a matte finish, thanks to which touching the tablet gives an unforgettable pleasure. However, you can not remain silent about the marco. The soft-touch coating is already known to buyers, and in their reviews they often point out such a disadvantage as the accumulation of fingerprints.

The gadget has dimensions of 24.7 × 17.1 × 0.89 cm. The side edges are slightly rounded, which allowed the developers to visually reduce the thickness of the tablet. The front panel is designed according to a typical scheme. It contains a large screen, a camera lens and a light sensor. But the light indicator in the Lenovo Tab A10-70L is not provided. The frame around the display is black or white. The camera lens is on the back panel. There is also a speaker here. Its hole occupies the entire upper part. Also on the lid, the manufacturer placed a company logo. Mechanical buttons (power key and volume control), which are used to control the tablet, are located on the side face on the left side. There is also a microUSB connector. The developers brought the microphone to the bottom end, and the headset port to the top.

Considering that the Lenovo Tab A10 works with networks of mobile operators, the designers have provided slots for a micro SIM card and removable storage. They are covered with a cap.

According to users, the build quality is quite good. However, they noticed one feature - when you press the back cover, there is a slight deflection. Most likely, this is due to the presence of free space between the case and the internal "stuffing".

Characteristics and reviews about the display

Tablet Lenovo Tab A10-70L has many advantages. One of them is the screen. It is quite large - 10.1 inches. The display technology used in the gadget is currently the highest quality. We are talking about IPS-matrix. It is already well known to users. Wide viewing angles, high color reproduction, real shades, optimal brightness margin - all this is guaranteed by the developers of Lenovo Tab A10-70L.

It is almost impossible to meet screens with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 px in the category of tablets under 20 thousand rubles. Famous brands use such characteristics in models whose prices are an order of magnitude higher. Unfortunately, the pixel density is not high enough - only 224 ppi. But users do not consider this a significant drawback.

In order to protect the developers used glass. allows you to almost completely get rid of the accumulation of fingerprints on the screen.

Hardware "stuffing"

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L 16Gb LTE is powered by a 4-core processor from MediaTek. Computing modules operate according to the 2+2 principle. With increasing load, the clock frequency reaches 1300 MHz. Users have no complaints about the MT8732 chipset model. In work, the tablet showed excellent results. It performs all tasks quickly: applications do not freeze, the browser does not slow down. The Mali-T760 processor is responsible for the graphics. The graphics accelerator allows you to display high-quality animation and other images.

Memory

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L shows good performance thanks to two gigabytes of "RAM". They are quite enough for excellent performance, and the user can experience almost no restrictions. The only thing that can cause problems is with modern toys. During their launch, subsidence in FPS is observed.

Native memory storage is 16 GB. It is designed to install downloaded applications, pictures and other files. In order for users to fully enjoy the capabilities of the gadget, the developers have provided support for external drives. The device will read information from flash drives with a capacity of no more than 64 GB.

Battery and battery life

The Lenovo Tab A10-70L has a non-removable battery. It is made using a lithium-ion composition. Battery capacity - 7000 milliamps per hour. This resource is enough for 12 hours of video playback. This figure will correspond to reality if you turn off the mobile signal.

Many users have left a large number of laudatory reviews about autonomy on the network. During the tests, the tablet showed excellent results. Depending on the intensity of the load, the battery lasts for 4-5 days.

Multimedia features

Studying the characteristics of the Lenovo Tab A10-70L, one cannot remain silent about the capabilities of the cameras. The rear works on the basis of an 8-megapixel module. For the front, the manufacturer chose a 5 megapixel matrix. Such equipment is fully consistent with modern requirements.

Stereo speakers can also be safely attributed to the advantages of the device. The sound is quite loud. Music tracks are played cleanly.

Conclusion

Summing up the review, we can safely say that this tablet model for 2015 had no competitors. Such characteristics were found only in the flagship models of manufacturers with a worldwide reputation, such as Samsung. However, their products were much more expensive. Therefore, the Lenovo tablet clearly stood out in the assortment range. The optimal combination of price and functionality made the gadget a sales leader for quite a long time.

As soon as the announcement of this tablet appeared in the media, I immediately received several letters from our readers with a request to review it. The model really came out very balanced in terms of price-performance ratio, so it's definitely worth talking about it.

Appearance, materials, controls, assembly

The Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L lacks stars from the sky in terms of appearance, it is a typical ten-inch Android tablet with slightly rounded corners and a black frame around the display.

On the front side there is a front 5 MP camera eye and a light indicator (there is no light sensor).

On the left, there is a volume rocker and a power button, as well as a microUSB port. On the top end - 3.5 mm for headphones, on the bottom - a hole for a spoken microphone for Skype and other programs.

The back cover is made of matte smooth plastic with soft-touch coating. Thanks to him, the tablet is comfortable to hold in your hands, but it is important to remember that such material collects fingerprints very well. By the way, there is a stub at the back, under which slots for a memory card and a microSIM card are hidden.

Here you can see the stereo speakers and the eye of the main camera. This model has support for Dolby Atmos technology, and if we talk about sound, it is really very good here, both in terms of volume and sound quality, the tablet will perfectly replace an inexpensive wireless speaker.

Two versions of the tablet will be available for sale: white and dark blue, we had just the last one on the test.

On the assembly part, I noticed one feature in my sample: apparently, there is a small empty space between the lid and the insides, so if you press hard on it, you will feel how it is slightly squeezed. This cannot be called a serious drawback, especially since in normal use cases you are unlikely to notice it.

Dimensions

In addition to the growth in resolution and performance of tablets, their dimensions are also decreasing every year, this is especially noticeable in terms of weight. A couple of years ago, the figure of 600-700 grams was considered the norm, but already in 2014-2015 it shifted to 450-500 grams, and Lenovo, with its 509 grams, looks great compared to competitors.

The tablet is comfortable to hold for a long time with one or two hands. As for the thickness, it is, of course, not at the level of leaders, but this model also did not seem thick to me.

Screen

One of the key advantages of this tablet is an excellent high-quality display. It is important to note that few of the famous manufacturers can offer you a ten-inch tablet with FHD resolution and an IPS matrix in the segment under 20,000 rubles.

And the screen in the Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L is really good: viewing angles close to the maximum, a large brightness range and good behavior in the sun. At the same time, thanks to the FHD resolution, it is very comfortable to read from the tablet, even small text looks very clear.

There is also an oleophobic coating here, though not as good as, for example, in the same Apple iPad Air or Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The finger slides well on the display, but the prints are not rubbed off as quickly as in these models.

Operating system

The tablet runs Android 4.4.4 and Lenovo's proprietary Vibe UI shell. There are rumors on the net that the model will be updated to Android 5.0, but keep in mind that rumors are not always confirmed. Eldar Murtazin already spoke about the features of Vibe UI in a separate article, those who wish can read it at the link below:

Performance

In everyday use, there are no complaints about the tablet. Tables scroll quickly, the browser works without slowdowns, applications do not slow down.

But with games, the situation is not so good. Although the same Asphalt 8 runs at maximum settings, subsidence in FPS is visible to the naked eye. This is worth considering if you plan to use the tablet for the most productive toys.

Another plus of the tablet is the location of the chipset, even in high-performance games you will almost not feel heat, since only the upper half of the back cover is heated.

Offline work

In our synthetic tests, the tablet shows simply excellent battery life, both for watching videos and reading. With everyday use, you can safely count on 4-5 days of work, depending on the intensity of use of the tablet.

Camera

The tablet has an 8 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera. Despite the high resolution, the pictures from the main camera are of very average quality, you can see for yourself in the examples below. Video device records in FHD resolution. As for the front camera, it is typical for such devices; in the same Skype, there is no noticeable difference with 2 MP cameras.

Wireless interfaces

The presence of dual-band Wi-Fi has already become a familiar attribute of the middle segment of tablets, as well as support for LTE. But the relatively fast (for the MediaTek chipset) start of GPS pleasantly pleased, as well as the presence of USB-OTG. By the way, voice calls are not supported by the device, and this is clearly an artificial limitation.

Accessories

I saw that you can buy a branded accessory for the tablet for 2,200 rubles. Keep in mind that this money is worth the option without a keyboard, if you want a case with the same keyboard, you will have to pay about 5000 rubles, which already does not look like such an interesting offer.

Conclusion

In retail, the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 version with LTE and 16 GB of internal memory is sold for 18,000 rubles. For the money, you get a fast tablet with a great display, very good stereo speakers, relatively light weight, and LTE support. Of the minuses, I will single out only the lack of voice calls and slowdowns in Asphalt 8.

At the moment, this model has no direct competitors. None of the major brands will offer you a ten-inch tablet with FHD resolution and LTE support, there are only a few older models (the same Asus MeMO Pad 10 FHD) that have almost disappeared from the shelves of large retail chains. You can remember the Chinese, but you definitely should not compare them with the large Lenovo. And modern flagships like the same Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, although they outperform this model, are also much more expensive.

As a result, Lenovo turned out to be a good tablet with a chic price-performance ratio without any significant flaws. If you are looking for a ten-inch Android tablet in the sub-20,000 ruble segment, then I strongly recommend this model.

Budget tablet Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L 16Gb in total, he showed himself on the positive side, although of course there were not the most pleasant moments. So, we begin our review with the characteristics, namely, with a processor that has 4 cores of 1700 MHz each, in total with two GB of RAM, makes it possible for the device to work quite quickly. In addition, there are 8MP and 5MP cameras on board, respectively, which take relatively good photos, especially considering the cost of the tablet itself. Also, Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L 16Gb has a high-quality matrix with a good margin of brightness and good color reproduction. Regarding the touchscreen, I would like it to respond better to touch. And yet, a few words must be said about the sound, which is not only quite loud, but also crystal clear. In general, the tablet showed itself not only on the positive side, but also on the opposite side, but for the declared price, it is quite possible to put up with this. We will recommend the device for a more detailed and long acquaintance.

Conclusion

From all that has been written above, it can be concluded that Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L 16Gb this is a relatively inexpensive tablet that has both positive and negative sides, but of course there are much more positive ones.

The tablet uses 64-bit quad-core(architecture Cortex-A53 if you're interested) processor Mediatek MT8165 operating at frequencies up to 1.7 GHz. Initially, it was supposed to be limited to 1.5 GHz, but, apparently, Lenovo engineers came to the conclusion that it can be slightly increased without fear of overheating. Various utilities have confirmed that the chip does reach 1.7 GHz, so this is not just unsubstantiated marketing. The speed of the processor is sufficient for the flawless operation of the web browser, and 2 GB RAM allow you to open a decent number of tabs. A pleasant surprise for an inexpensive tablet.

The built-in drive has a fairly high sequential read speed, comparable to more expensive devices, but other attributes (sequential write, work with 4-kilobyte blocks) barely live up to modern standards. Fortunately, in practice, you can’t complain about memory: applications open quickly enough, and Android doesn’t take much time to start. Keep in mind that the 16 GB version only has 10.5 GB free - it makes sense to pay extra for the 32 GB model, especially since it costs not much more.
